Walking in Chitwan National Park... Oh hey look it's a 5m (15 ft) long Indian rock python. It was my guide's second time EVER seeing one. A few hours later, we see ANOTHER huge one (no pic as it was slithering away). Seeing one of these is as rare as coming across a Bengal tiger in the park and we saw two!
The Pythonidae, commonly known simply as pythons, from the Greek word python (πυθων), are a family of nonvenomous snakes found in Africa, Asia, and Australia. Among its members are some of the largest snakes in the world.

Really crappy photo but my roommate spotted a snek in a tree outside! Pretty cool to watch! He had just shed his skin-- it was hanging in the tree, still wet! We think it was a jungle Python 💚 I've named him Dom ... because Simo said his shed skin looked like a condom in the tree 😂 but seeing Dom made me miss Sahara so much! I hope my lil baby is happy n healthy.
