@RobertYoungEstate Winery is located on a beautiful 350 acre private estate in Alexander Valley AVA and has been a defining winery in the AVA for more than 50 years. In the 1960s, founder Robert Ashley Young was the first grower to plant cabernet sauvignon in the region. The winery’s flagship bottling of chardonnay is made from a special clone honoring Young.

My version of celebrities are winemakers. So honored to meet Miss Carol Shelton @carolsheltonwines today @zap.zinfandel #ZinEx . She’s an icon in the industry and a personal role model. And yes she’s just as beautiful in person as her wines suggest. Cheers! ❤️🍷😊

#ThrowbackThursday Victoria Moore: 12 good reasons for buying #wine by the case http://bit.ly/2Dd86xB Who wouldn’t feel a sense of anticipation, sliding a knife through the tape binding a box of 12 bottles that have spent years lying in a dark vault, waiting for you to summon them for drinking?
Besides the thrill, there’s a satisfaction in the knowledge, as you select one to open, that there are 11 more to come back to again and again, perhaps years later, when the wine is even more mature, if you can keep your hands off it for that long.
I don’t buy this sort of wine often – household budgets don’t permit it – but on a damp and miserable day at the end of last year I took delivery of a case that I’d bought in early spring 2009. If I’m honest, I bought it by accident. #Luxury#Impact#Taste#FineDinning#Art#Luxurylifestyle#Vineyard#Adventure#Viniculture#Luxuryliving#Folliers#Evangelist#eVINgelist#WineMakers#WinesofPortugal#WineTime#WineLife Get in touch www.iimpact.tv
📷From Monday: A year in review, and a checkup on various wines as they ferment and age. As well as a little building maintenance. @__alex_pitts leads a Scholium Project tasting at Tenbrink, and I get a peek into the life of this winery in January. Always grateful to be included. #winemakers#winery#schoolisinsession

Picking the grapes is fun, pressing them is even better, bottling is a great time because you get to drink while you work, but making your own unique label is much more enjoyable than people think! Pick a name and picture that perfectly describes you and what you’ll be using this wine for.
