I see photographers claim their style is photojournalistic and yet all their photos are posed.
I like posing people. I'm not touching you and moving your face with my hands, but I'll say, "stand over here in this spot" "put your arms around her." This is not a photojournalistic approach. I post lots of moments that are not scripted, not set up, and they are my favorite but, there has to be balance. This bride would not have walked into the snow, in the fog, on her wedding day if I hadn't asked. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe she would've...Genna?
Anyway, as a working photojournalist for years, I know you don't pose photos, you don't set things up. I'm being petty, I'll stop.
