Oh 2017, where do I begin! From all the weddings, to new friendships, and big changes, this year is one I won't forget! .
New year means new goals! Have you made yours yet? At the beginning of 2017, I wrote out my goals and framed them on my office wall and let me say, it makes a huge difference when you write them out. It's like they become more real and it kick starts your drive to accomplish them. So seriously, have you set goals? Thought about things you want to complete this year? Even if they are simple things, one goal is better than zero goals!! Ready. Set. Go. 🙌
Also, photo credit goes out to my girl @kelaneydodas ..what a joy it has been to grow as friends and as photographers over the last 6 months! Here's to future weddings together!! 📷

My beautiful cousin, Tracy, gave me her Pearl Jam ticket stub & t-shirt from Alpine Valley, WI 1998! This has always been one of my favorite boots to listen to and when I found out she actually went to that show, I was blown away!!! 😮😀 Thank you so much, I will always treasure this and take great care of it. She is a very talented photographer who made this card out of one of her pics from hiking the Vatnajokull Glacier. 😘🎶📷 #pearljam#alpinevalley#yield#yieldtour#1998#love#wisconson#photography#hiking#vatnajokull#cousins#family
I’m currently sitting in O’Hare Airport, waiting for my flight to San Francisco, and looking back on what can only be described as one of the best experiences of my life. For the past 4 months, I’ve been lucky enough to call myself a Badger and to have been a part of the wonderful and extraordinary family that is University of Wisconsin.
I’ve acquired a lot of knowledge during this amazing semester; not only from an academic standpoint, but also about different people and cultures.
I started the semester off a little unfortunate due to some roommate indifferences, which ultimately led to me moving apartments after the first month. However, the roommates that welcomed me into the new apartment have been nothing short of fantastic and I was a part of the gang in no time.
Lastly, I didn’t think it was possible to meet so many unique and incredible people in such a short time as I have. I’ve formed bonds with people from all around the world; some of these friendships I will undoubtedly have for years to come and some didn’t make it to the next morning - perhaps due to lack of remembrance arising from consumption of intoxicating liquids the preceding night.
Attending UW-Madison has without a doubt been one of the best decisions of my life and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!
Let’s go Badgers! ❤️
