I genuinely spent 20 minutes in a real panic waiting in line to get on this ride at LegoLand with my son. I've spent 10 years avoiding theme parks. Would i fit on? How many people would be watching if i had to get back up because the seatbelt wouldn't tie up? / the safety bar wouldn't go over my gut. How would my son feel seeing his dad asked to leave the ride? I actually called my fiancé over to stand with us and get ready to jump in- in my place if I didn't fit. Well I did, much to my surprise. It was a huge achievement on my weightloss journey and the first time I'd shared a moment like that with my son. 👍👊
I put up a post towards the end of April saying that I was going to start swimming lessons and probably went on about how it is a huge deal 😭
Well, I never ended up going afterwards 🤦🏽♀️
I let my fear get the better of me and months slid by before I finally grew a pair. Today was my first class and believe it or not - I survived!! 💃🏽 The instructor got me to walk around in the water until I was comfy and then I progressed to kicking (round of applause) 🤣 I stupidly said: wow this feels like a real workout and she was like: yep it is working out! Na duh Fred.
Day 15: Biggest Supporter. Some new people who have showed up and stayed and the other are oldies but they stick and I know I can count on them for anything. Can't forget my dog at the top who is a true supporter even though she doesn't know what she's supporting 😉 #wlsaugchallenge#vsgjourney#vsg#wls
Chicken and bacon salads are what's for lunch for the next few days. Since I'm pregnant I had to roast the chicken myself but gosh it's going to be worth it, we had some for dinner and it was yummy! Are you all prepped for lunches this week?

So here we are, 18 months post #VSG , 30kg down and going for #thelast15 🙋🏻 This is week 1 of 8 done of my new training program with @djmfit (thanks coach 😘), and my first time following #IIFYM . So far so good, if not a little challenging trying to consume the required food intake for the day without compromising the VSG restriction... but overall feeling better, training better and sleeping better 💪🏻
