Here’s a closer shot of my new cedar fence showing how we executed the grade change detail in an unusual way — using mitered corners so every board flows continuously down the entire length of the fence. It’s kind of a trippy optical illusion when you stand back and view it from the street. I also designed it with alternating board widths (5” + 3”) and a quarter inch gap. 📐

Upcycled hairdresser trolley. Yes that’s 10 drawers with 10 dividers. 😅 It is my gift to the local school. The hairdresser trolley was free because everyone throws this type of thing out once it gets yuck. If you see one I know the schools love this sort of thing for art supplies. 🙌🙌💯🌟💯 #woodworking#woodworker#woodshop#wooden#upcycled#handmade#schooldonation
Hey stuff happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I accidentally turned the butt-end of my handle into a through mortise. A quick panel glue-up fixed that real easy, and actually might have improved the look of the backside by hiding unsightly end grain.
The panel was cut shy of the lines, then trimmed flush with the saw rasp. Man do I love that tool!
Looks like @theturnedupshop was busy this last week turning walnut on their Grizzly lathe! What projects have you been working on in your shop? 🤔
