Getting realy excited for the finish on this set of boards. First picture is Ambrosia maple primary with blackwalnut, and honey locusts. Next is blackwalnut primary with honey locusts, and maple. And last is cherry primary with ambrosia maple, and blackwalnut. Look for finish pictures tomorrow. All are 11 "X 15" cutting surface and 1" thick.
A few weeks ago I had a little “crafty” afternoon while I watched my boys along with my adorable niece. My niece is always looking for something different to do, so I prepped these little cookies, which the littles got to paint. Having my son’s be so excited about hanging these on our tree is a memory I will always carry with me! 🎄 Now these are my favorite ornaments! Do you have a favorite ornament?
Here is a detailed shot of one of the bow ties in the river coffee table. Sap wood from the same walnut slab was used for the bow ties and if you look closely you can see the coffee grains mixed with epoxy to fill the crack.
