So you may have noticed a lack of fitness posts around here lately. It's not because I've "fallen off the wagon", but rather, because sometimes life gets busy 🤷
Yes, I have not been working out consistently these past couple weeks but that doesn't mean a healthy lifestyle isn't important to me 😉 I started a new job, which means a new routine (will be another new routine at the end of training when I get switched to my shift), and finding what works best for me.
Ideally working out and eating well go hand in hand, however just because one may go to the side for a bit doesn't mean you give up on the other. So while I might not be working through a specific program right now, I am still making sure I stick to my clean eating as much as possible! I've been drinking my ShakeO every day, drinking lots of water, and snacking on my fruits and veggies 🍎🥕
I am taking some time this weekend to get organized 🙌 I'll be picking a program for myself and planning my next couple of challenge groups. So glad my fitness is a lifestyle and not a fad!
4:30am wake up call 🤸🏽♂️💥 getting in some cardio before work today. I work at a different dental office on Friday’s - they start at 6:30am, so that requires me to wake up EXTRA early on Fridays. It’s getting so much easier to get up early. The first couple days of the transition to working out earlier is definitely a little rough but then your body adjusts and you actually get EXCITED to go break a sweat. Last night I was craving pizza, chocolate and anything else fatty and greasy🤷🏽♀️... but, I resisted and just went to bed. I’m feeling GREAT this morning because of it! I believe strongly in “balance” but it can be a slippery slope to “treat yoooooo self every-single-night” 😻🍫🍦🍰 sometimes you need to set the limitations and put yourself to bed before those mind games start 👊🏽✌🏽
Soo sweaty, red faced and happy after our run on Wednesday 🙏🏼 People can say about social media whatever they want, but without IG (and probably BBG for that matter) I never would have got to know this girl right there @anitavocado who's just as fitness and food enthusiastic like me 😝 Here's to hopefully many more runs and food conversations with you!! I'm so glad our paths have crossed 💜 Also: HAPPY FRIDAY GUYS 💃 I can't wait for this weekend, especially because it ends with me going to Frankfurt on Sunday ✈️ followed by a whole week off work 🙊 Hope you have a great one too, take care 💋

On Fridays we face off and here’s quite the comparison! Me or 2 years ago vs me yesterday! So thrilled that my face is starting to take shape and look less round! One of the things I’ve been most self conscious with is my face, my double chin etc. I’ve got a ways to go with it but I’m getting there!! Happy Friday y’all!!
