Qotd: what's all of your views on draw reins?
Personally, I don't like them and have never used them. From a dressage perspective, because they double the weight you put down the reins and as I train a horse to listen to a whisper, rather than a shout aid, I can only see them having a bad effect. Also, a horses performance isn't the be all and end all so the welfare of the horse should always come first, not just physically but mentally too. I could go on forever about this but comment what you think and whether you have used them before❤️
Meanwhile, I can't wait to get back on this little mare after her holiday is now finished❤️ -
I've spent the last 3 weeks gradually building her muscle and stamina back up and I'm now going to start doing some training towards the end of the week on her. She's been keen in her lunging sessions to move forward so I can't wait to get on and school her canter ready for Feb next year👌💕 -
Good morning Wednesday with a new shape and handle cup
Getting back into digital painting again after a lovely day with @nadiaxelart . I honestly feel like this is the medium that I'm strongest at. I do think it's important to experiment with new art supplies to figure out which materials doesn't work against you but with you so you'll have the ability to convey what you want with the least struggle. For me it's ever changing though 🙈 Do you have a favorite medium? And if so, which? 😊
