Really looking forward to speaking at this! I think @mum_talks are on to a great thing in the way they bring mums together to talk about all the things that connect and inspire us - as well as being mothers!
I love the theme I'm speaking on - Breathe - as that word alone has formed the basis of a lot of my recent life decisions.
And what a panel to stand beside, it's going to be a great morning of inspiration.

Everyone wants a strong woman
until she actually stands up,
flexes her muscles, ✨✨
projects her voice
Suddenly, she is too much.
She has forgotten her place.
You love those women
as ideas, fantasies
Not as breathing, living humans
threatening to be even better
than you could ever be. #futureisfemale#selfie
For all those who wanted to know from my #instastory ; yesterday’s #ootd details ☺️😍
My dress is by @fabindianews ; its a flattering mehendi colour in cotton-silk fabric.💃🏻

I had to post about this because I saw something that got me all worked up: hard work leads to a successful life- even if success to one person doesn't mean 100k a year or a generally lavish life. You work to make money, yes but also to show the world that you are worth what you're putting in- that you deserve the good that you've got. If you want to be a successful writer? Write and write and write. If you want to be a successful artist? Draw and draw and draw. If you want to be a body builder? Lift.. we all have to go through a shit load of hard and stressful times to get to even start to see the fruits of our nature starting to bloom. Did Da Vinci just draw something and become famous? No, he wasn't celebrated for The Last Supper until he was 46 years old. Do you think I just got on the ground one day and decided I'd hold a crow pose? No, I did yoga for 2 weeks every day before even attempting and then eventually was able to get there after loads of practice... there's a great amount of character that is built within a hard worker, and a great deal of pride. There are many people who don't want to work but wonder why they aren't respected the way that others who spend hours a week busting their asses to make a living are. You can live whatever life you'd wish to, but just know that you can't just wish for success, you've got to earn it. 🌹 build a better, stronger, prouder you. I swear you'll be so grateful that you did🌹 #workingwoman
After 4 days of running on pure adrenaline from all the excitement at work, I am going to have some chamomile tea ☕️ and hopefully my brain will calm down and let me sleep tonight 😴What are your natural remedies for a good night sleep? Did I mention how much fun I am having tracking my sleeping patterns on my Fitbit :) #chamomile#fitbit#goodnightsleep
Yestday @jacobtboyd captured these beautiful and realistic snapshots of my prep for Lola’s school picture day. After he took them I balked, and I didn’t want to share them on social media, because they were taken in our partially-demolished master bathroom that is anything but “masterful.” And tonight while scrolling through yesterday’s photos I realized how lame it was that I would refrain from showcasing this precious moment because of my superficial shame surrounding my “insufficient” bathroom. I am so proud to curl my daughter’s hair and to model confidence and enthusiasm to her! I want her to feel strong, capable, sufficient and (dammit) pretty if she wants to feel pretty! 🙂
