Well today you are 3 months old, 3 months of the most stressful times where we were so worried about you but through the whole time this is the smile that greets me and Lily whenever he looks at us, couldn't wish for more ❤️
I used to spend every evening working on my blog or business, so to actually be able to have some weeknights free is one of the most valuable things ever 💚 I can actually start doing things I've wanted to do for ages, like making house plans, journaling and of course, planning the wedding! 👰 Currently sat with candles burning, going to put a film on and get a bowl of cheerios. Happy Tuesday! 💃
I am filling up my next fitness is my business challenge. I want my Coaches and Customers to see great transformation and use the energy and confidence gained to achieve more in life!
Would you be down for transformation too if you knew the process worked?
If you're not turning your 'passion to profits', why not? You deserve to live your life, enjoy what you do and make the 💷 you want to! •

Do you guys have a baby album? Where you write about developmental milestones and attach photos of your precious mini☺️ Is it still a thing? I have one and I love it so much! It's handmade and I love to hold it in my hands and will treasure it for years. I wonder would I still be into writing everything down if I had more kids😅
I was recently asked to judge a competition at the University of Delaware Horn Program in Entrepreneurship, where a talented group of future business leaders presented their ideas and the business plans to bring them to fruition. It seems like yesterday that I was on the other side of the table, so to speak, while I was starting Little Nest - time flies!
It's an honor to be recognized as an expert in your field and a success story. With that recognition comes the responsibility to mentor the next generation of business and community leaders, and in doing so be part of change and progress.
This is KEY 🔑🔑🔑
What are some obstacles preventing a work-life balance? Do you to advance your career at your pace and hours?
If the answer is YES ✅:
And you haven't seek change, WHY?!
I don't want to come out as cliche but with technology, it makes remote jobs more feasible and truth worthy.
So here's my TAKE:
Look for tools that facilitates your career by working at your time. At miramom, we are looking to be a PLATFORM for you. Thus, what are some key features that you would like to see 👀
@Regrann from @dahliamayflowerfarm - We practiced rest here today. I say 'practiced' because when you are self employed you become so accustomed to the constant hustle that the act of slowing down, the act of resting, actually feels a little uncomfortable at first, like a muscle you haven't worked in a long time.
My husband @mysticwoodcarving and I both have our own business, and most days we are ships passing in the night as we work.
Today we hoped onto the motorcycle and went for a long ride. We stopped for 10am ice cream at the cheese factory that my grandpa always took me to as a child. We drove north, we took all the unassumed roads, we got lost, we got wet and muddy through a swamp, and we took in all of the scenery. We took in the smell of fresh pine and damp ground. It's been a long time since I've soaked in that simple earthy scent.
We had the best lunch at a tiny diner, made for us by Myrna, an hour further north than we planned on riding. We stopped for gas and shared cherry coke and sweet tarts.
When we got home I fell asleep on the grass in our yard. I haven't done that in probably 15 years. We soaked in small moments.
I harvested these sunflowers tonight. Procut Plum, one of my very favourites this season.
I'm feeling a little guilt for not tackling my inbox today, but a lot of gratitude for the quiet moments I spent with my husband. He's back in his wood shop now working away, and I'm at my desk eating leftover sweet tarts and reminding myself that the emails will still be there tomorrow.

Found these notes today, from my seminar week at the Aspen Institute last year. Hard to believe it's been a year. Our first day of seminar: Aristotle and others on the question of happiness. What is your recipe for happiness? Mine: family, meaningful work, good food, time outdoors, friends, art, dancing, lots of books, great conversations, quiet, hugs, laughter -- a little bit of each everyday. #worklifebalance#happiness
....der synes jeg bare slet ikke det er nemt at være uden fast job 🌸 Der er nyt på bloggen hvor jeg prøver at svare på mange af alle de spørgsmål jeg har fået 😘 #worklifebalance#lifestyle#blog
Yesterday this guy helped me out and made some eggs for my breakfast. I'm not a big cook, usually my husband does it all, but there is something about this moment where my buddy is next to me cooking something healthy for his mama that just melts my heart. .
Are your kids all about helping you cook? Are you looking to get them more interested and find some healthy recipes that you can feed them????? .
Join me for my upcoming 3 day FREE Kids in the Kitchen group starting August 30th! Message me or comment below if you are interested!!!!!
New coaching client starts today. She's working on transistioning from a job that she's held for seven years that's ending abruptly. We're working on schedule and creating structure, real, fun and useful networking tips, her resume, her personal brand (really what she brings to the table), answering to her values, worthiness and how to not burn out in the meantime. This is my favorite work and so incredibly energizing. Feeling thankful to be doing work I love and that serves people becoming who they really want to be ✨
