Came home started straight onto Supper, cooked 4 pans of cornbread, got ready and dashed off to Church, came home fed the girls and I got 4 pans of Dressing finally done! 😋🙌🏼 (Atleast I got Christmas already covered)Then I had to clean the kitchen from the huge mess I made! 🙄 The 🦃 will go in the smoker in the middle of the night thanks to the hubby! At least I will be relaxing come lunch tomorrow stuffing my face with some good eats! All so worth it! 🦃😬🙌🏼 #happythanksgiving

When I overslept this morning and missed my workout, I posted in my challenge group that I was going to do my workout tonight. I asked my group of ladies to check in with me this evening to make sure I did it, and they didn't disappoint 🙌 .

Thought this poem was kinda cute, but for reals, if you have been consistently eating healthy, one meal isn't going ruin all the progress you've made. So don't stress and enjoy your day of family and food! BUT. With that being said, I know I will FEEL better if I start the day with a workout. So I am challenging you to do the same and I promise you won't be mad when you're done! 😅 So here's to getting in some BURPEES before our TURKEYS! 💪🏻 For directions to this workout keep reading. 👇🏻
You'll need a couple dumbbells, ideally 1 heavy one and a pair of lighter ones. I used a 20 lb DB and a set of 12 lb ones. There are 4 burpee variations, each paired with a strength exercise, so 4 sets total. Repeat EACH SET 2x and by the end you will have completed 70 total burpee variations in about 25-30 minutes. 👊🏻
•Burpee squat side/front 10x
•5 Sumo squats / 5 jump squats *Repeat this combo 5x
•Burpee w/ tricep push-up to sgl arm snatch 10x •Static lunge w/ 10 alt curls then go right into 10 jump lunges then repeat w/other leg
•1 Power burpee + 1 jack/ 1 power burpee + 2 jacks/ 1 power burpee + 3 jacks
*Repeat until 1/5.
•Balance reverse fly to upright row 5x R leg and 5x L leg
•Frog jump burpee 10x
•3 twist/bicycle hold 10x

For my husband, Thanksgiving means PIE. So today is PIE central. Several apple, pumpkin, and pecan have been baked and some with gluten-free crusts.
And I almost forgot to mention the best part. I didn't bake a one. These were all lovingly made by my husband.
To all you hubbies out there I will tell you that a man who bakes is pretty damn hot.

I challenged my girls in my online intuitive living group to post their "thighs before pies " post workout selfie or workout area at home today 😁 the challenge was to get in a workout today so we have all the energy we need to get through the busy day with family and friends tomorrow!
Let me just say that one of the mommas has 5 little ones and the littlest is a newborn and another one that posted so far has a newborn as well. Both cleared by their Drs and ok to workout but let me just tell you ....tomorrow is thanksgiving and they are making time for their workouts. Super inspiring to me!!!! We all agree it isn't easy to get our workouts in with all that we balance as moms but we always feel SO much better when we get them in!
I was up off and on last night with Harrison that had a fever and yet another asthma flare up. This child has been sick every other week since the beginning of sept. Not only is it physically exhausting as an asthma mom but emotionally draining as well. The worry and fear that comes along with asthma is awful. I had lots of excuses to say no to my workout and I DO say no and rest often as well but man I needed my workout more than ever today to burn off the stress!!! Not to mention the energy I need to put up with a 5 year old on steroids again.
I love that I have an online group of like minded mommas to workout with in the midst of the crazy season of life we are all in right now!
