Y'all... this is life. Dirty dishes, mail, legos, water bottles all over the counter, kids eating crap out of a box...aka Mac N Cheese, laundry still waiting to be folded (which I better fluff) and a husband traveling all week. I'm sleep deprived since I'm a big wuss who is afraid of the dark in this new house all by myself, I'm suffering from a little mom guilt by allowing my kids to watch more TV than allowed just so I can get a moment to myself and I may or may not have binged on TV until late at night just to unwind from the long days. The one thing I keep constant in my day is the hour I dedicate to my health and will always make a priority, even if it means waking up early each morning to accomplish it. There will always be duties that HAVE to be done daily, I get it. This is not about being obsessed with working out since it's only a fraction of health but completely about doing what is necessary to manage my back pain to be the active and an engaged mom my boys need. The occasional pain I get from time to time is a reminder of the dark time I lived in, so doing life....including the daily chores pain free and not having to manipulate my movements to avoid pain, is something I'm grateful for. If you don't have time to be healthy, you're going to have time to be sick. Friends, don't take your health for granted, every step you take is a choice that benefits or hurts your health. Find that balance and just start something. Everything adds up over time, so what will your daily choices add up to? #progressnotperfection
