"My studio space is just my bedroom :) I make most of my drawings and paintings on my laptop or my iPad so I don't have the biggest need for an actual studio. One day I would like to have a separate space where I can stretch my art legs but for now, my bedroom is where I feel the safest and where I feel safe to make art and explore my practice." - @solarsisters on creative space. 💙 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
#Susbcribe to Papirmass today and we'll mail you a print from this amazing artist! Link in bio.
This year's winter will go down in history as the season of endless sickness 😬 I'm slowly emerging from the slump (although still knocked down by cold) and thank goodness the kids are largely free from whatever drama has been bothering them (& there's been lots! 🙈)
I picked new work desks from @ikea_australia in an attempt to revive my energy to create, and as it usually happens in my case, I ended up rearranging stuff in the whole studio. It's a not-so-secret passion of mine, I can rarely last for a month without moving something around the house #NotSorry
So that being said... what's up?? Have I missed anything while I was busy trying to keep the family alive? 😁 I admit that I haven't scrolled Insta for looong days... #FeelsGoodTho#SocialMediaCleanseFTW

Love how this workspace uses a pinky-beige colour band to create a separate zone for this desk set up 🌟 It could have been be a very plain space with desk and chair, but the lovely styling, palette selection and colour band makes this a gorgeous place to work 💛 from @_julia_alieva via @viva_office

Sunday night: a glass of vino and the start of a Pinterest board full of ideas for my new studio coming in a couple months. Really loving the bench, spool holder and of course the shelves for all the plant babes in this workspace 🌱 #inspo
Andrew gave me free reigns when it came to creating this space. I wanted to design it with purposeful intention. I wanted it to be a haven for others to keep chasing their dreams. I wanted those who chose to plug in and zone out to be happy in the hustle, to feel good when working, when grinding, creating, and getting ish done. To see the 100's of post, to watch the instastories, snap chats and all the photos shared online has fanned my personal flame and I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for sharing the good vibes, cultivating good energy and for just being freakin awesome. I love the Costa Mesa community and I feel so blessed to live here, work here and raise our babies here. I invite you to this space, lovingly called #SecondHomeWorkspace right next door to our restaurant @socialcostamesa x @thunderkingcoffeebar ❤️
Although we understand that the #hustle can't stop won't stop, we hope you do one thing today that feeds your soul. Happy #selfcaresunday ✌🏼

“a good life is lived by choice, not by chance.”
⛪ This is the space before you enter our studio. Quite often, and in a rush to start the day's work, we walk straight past this masterpiece which floods light onto the gallery floor. We can often take such beauty and craftsmanship for granted, much like our clothing •
But every so often when the old church is quiet, and the building floor on which we work is empty, we pause and reflect in the indoor sunshine cast upon us. We are lucky this is our design home. We are grateful to be in such a fortunate position to innovate every day within these surroundings and we acknowledge the importance to reflect and appreciate craftsmanship that stands the test of time •
This is reflected in our clothing and in turn, this is reflected in your wardrobe •
What was the last thing you took time to appreciate or reflect upon?
