This was super yummy and a ton of food. It was the @skinnytaste recipe for Brussels Sprouts and Sausage Parsnip Spiralized Pasta. Very filling and only #9sp I dumbed it down for the kids (swipe) I try to only cook one dinner.
Randomly had 8sp leftover after my pizza?! So I treated myself to 8 points worth of breyers mint chip delights ice cream 😋 this was SUCH a huge serving. Normally I eat whole pints if I'm going to have low cal ice cream, but I'm thinking I should start weighing it out and seeing I can have a lot and be just as satisfied but save some points. Ending my day at 30/30 which feels amazing
SO I tried the infamous sweet potato toast this morning... and it was a bit of a letdown! 👎🏼 I think that if I tried it with avo or an egg I'd like it much better, so I haven't ruled it out completely yet! I just didn't care for the almond butter combo 😖 If you loveeee almond butter then I think you'd enjoy it more than I did! 👉🏼 4sp for the sweet potato 🍠 5sp for the almond butter!
Pizza night 2.0 🍕This time I sprayed the crust with a little coconut oil cooking spray and I think it made a good difference. Also I really like that I cut it into smaller (less savage) slices this time. I will definitely repurchase these crusts (2 in a pack). Such a lovely night for my friends birthday 👏🏻 I had the venison tortellini which was beaut (27sp) 3x prosecco (11sp) & a slice of chocolate cake (15sp) putting me at -2 weeklies but sometimes that’s ok 👍🏻
Bit of a ‘can’t be arsed’ supper... feeling frustrated that I stuck to plan last week but gained a quarter of a pound. I know it’s not much, but still... grrrr!! Anyway, it’s a new week so let’s forget about that! I got little one off to bed and, literally, threw this together - pasta, chicken breast, green beans, some light Phili, quark, and a little bit of Parmesan on top. 🥔🍳🥦🥓 No Count Bacon & Bubble | Never tried nor made Bubble & Squeak before so it was my first time cooking it and eating it (no pressure for me as my fiancé LOVES it 😰) but it was amazing! Can I be super vulnerable and honest with you all right now? I have MISSED you, my IG friends, these past couple of months. Yes, I’ve posted occasionally but I haven’t been nearly as active on here as I would like to be. Part of that is because my healthy eating has kind of taken a backseat and I don’t want to post about the junk I’ve been consuming. (I’m still within my goal range but that is due to lack of eating more than anything else.) The other reason for my absence is that I have been super busy sharing about these essential oils with my friends and family.
I’ve been teaching people about the value of holistic self care vs reactive care. We have been loving on our friends by hosting oily gatherings, doing DIY parties and I’ve been to the post office more times than I can count sending out gifts and welcome packets 🎁
We have built a team of like minded, health focused, freedom warriors and we are about to hit a huge goal! Our goal for this month is to have 100 families receive this premium starter kit (pictured) so they can begin their wellness journey with us! We are 20 families away and I have been HUSTLING over on FB in our Oily groups. Teaching, sharing, gifting and celebrating with our friends who are seeing amazing results every day. Better sleep, improved wellness, emotional break throughs, reduced sugar cravings, weight loss and...wait for it...financial freedom! Yes!!! Wellness, purpose and abundance 😭 #allthefeels
Because of this hustle, I have let some of my own personal goals slip and that is about to change.
