Hey everyone! Sorry for my brief absence. Not only was the last week of school incredibly crazy with finishing my kids memory books, report cards, packing up my room, etc. but my poor grandpa (as many of you know, he lives with us and we are his primary caretakers) had to be admitted to the hospital last Thursday and spent a few days in icu and has been in ever since. My dinners have looked mostly like this (salad bar at the hospital cafeteria tonight 😂) and I've just been really busy juggling both. My eating has not been the best (stress ate a little too much!! 😫🙈) and I'm sadly up a couple pounds but I know I can get it off fast with a commitment to better eating and also spending some time exercising. The good news is today was my last day of school so I should have a lot more time now to focus on my eating and exercising. I'm also looking forward to having a lot more time to spend on here! ☺️ I've missed my buddies! Tracker for day ✌🏻 of #wwfreestyle Today was a little harder because I didn’t have any meals planned... number one goal of the day was to get my final paper done. It’s due tomorrow and then I can finally get in the Christmas spirit! Earlier today I thought I was over doing it on the zero point foods but looking back at my day I think it was the perfect amount! This week should be easier because I have a chicken recipe and a zero point chili I plan to make! Also made hard boiled eggs to have whenever. Zero point foods for today included the rest of the corn & ff refried beans from yesterday, turkey, & 1/2 cup of plain nonfat Greek yogurt that I mixed with 1 tsp of ranch dip mix (new favorite)!

Dinners are planned for the week. I️ feel so much more in control when I️ plan. Honestly, these last couple weeks I’ve been sliding away from making good food choices. Still tracking but I️ am running out of points before dinner. The scale isn’t budging either. Gotta get back to more 0 and low SP Foods. The saying is true: If you kind of work the plan, you kind of lose some weight, but if you really work the plan you really lose the weight.
13-28 Smart Points (calories) is a healthy range for me. I’m not going to force myself to use up my daily allowed points each day. Saving them for days I may feel hungrier or feel like having a treat...especially this month 😊🎄
Today’s breakfast started as a repeat of yesterday’s. That is until my waffle got stuck in my waffle iron and I had to pry it open 🤣 by the time I got it open it was completely stuck and hard as a rock 🙊 so i grabbed some mushrooms, green onions, spinach and a teensy bit of feta and made a two egg omelet (0sp)! I had it with three slices of turkey bacon (3sp) and a mandarin (0sp). I made my iced coffee a little bit festive 🎄 this morning by using 1/2 cup of @lovemysilk almond nog (2sp). Today I’m allowing myself a little bit of lazy and then I NEED to make a bigger dent in this unpacking. I also scored a free tv for my bedroom from a family member who upgraded, so I’ll be making a trip to the South Shore to pick it up! After that I have two recipes to cook up for meals for the week 😸 Have a great Sunday everyone!
