Finally was able to ride it to work and it ran great. I've got a few things I want to work on and the paint is far from perfect but it's great to be able to ride it again! #xs400#dailydriven#notaharley#loudpipe
Novel new way to mount an engine, without all those factory specified bolts. Love that it's 50 grams lighter now, I'll definitely feel that difference on the raceway... #xs400#yamaha#1982#motorcycle#restoration
My pride and joy. Before & After.
My pops rode, my older brother rides, I ride, and I just taught my younger brother to ride as well just a few days ago.
Rebuilt this whole thing myself. I've been waiting for the day I could ride since I was a few years old, the time finally came and I decided to buy something I could afford and build it myself. I had absolutely no mechanical knowledge of bikes prior to getting started, just bought an old broken bike and threw myself into it.
Considering it was my first ever build, I think it came out all right.
A big check off my bucket list.
