In the past year and a half, I’ve been going through a journey of the soul, and since this summer, that exploration has taken a deep dive. I have met so many people who were catalysts for each step along the way – you know who you are, and I treasure it. At the beginning, I didn’t recognize it; it was only later that I could see the pivotal role they had played in my search for what we call enlightenment. Now, I can see these kindred spirits, soulmates, and our connections for what they are, while they’re happening, so much more clearly. Throughout all of this, @melany.oliver has truly been a trusted spiritual guide, a soul healer, and a wonderful teacher, and I cannot thank her enough – anyone who has ever experienced this will tell you that awakening is not always the easiest process, since you must face the darkness to see the light. They warn you that once you go down this path, there’s no going back – but if you’re on the right one, then you won’t want to anyway. The best part of it is that once you’re there, you also realise that there’s no end to this journey. There’s always so much more to learn, so many more layers to uncover, but on this side of it, even when some parts of the journey can be painful, it still feels like freedom. This is true growth, and it is beautiful.
