I learned to flip my grip in King Pigeon at the workshop and it’s the best feeling ever. There’s no stress or discomfort in trying to get into the pose anymore! It’s amazing! Thanks @jessicaolie and @the_southern_yogi for teaching this. ❤️🙏🏼

This week we are working on leg strength; ideal for runners and cyclists.
Look at how gorgeous the colors are, my fingers and toes are as red as a clown nose. It's freezing cold up here in the mountains. Weather projects snow today!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Finally starting another yoga challenge and today's all about shoulder openers. Some of my favs, puppy pose, downdog, assisted puppy pose with the railing, and my failed attempt at a leg extension in puppy pose. I got wayyy too cold.
After a wonderful week in LA, we're back on our way to Vancouver. I'm going to miss the sunshine ☀️ It's also day 1 of #Fall4Hips - gate pose - always a yummy one.
Sunday’s are my favourite.
I slept in, had a nice long breakfast, done some batch cooking for the week ahead, practiced yoga, took a nice long walk with my dog🐶 went to another Christmas market 🙈🎄and now I’m going to enjoy a nice dinner, watch a Christmas movie and drink some hot chocolate 🍫😌

Starting my day with two of my favorite things: ☕ + 🤸🏽♂️. Today is only like my third time successfully holding a forearm stand w/o the assistance of the wall anddd finding comfort & stability here!! You guys!! This is my face right now 🙉🙃. This is after nearly a year of attempts in my practice. The process getting here has taught me alot about facing any new challenge in life.
At first this felt risky. I felt the discomfort in muscles of my body that weren't used to being challenged in this way and here is where my mind wanted to quit. My fear of falling and self-doubt showed up. But this is proof that the practice of just tuning out and showing up with consistency w/o having to get it right is enough.
