stretches and opens the front of the body, strengthens the back and shoulders and
relieves the body of lower back ache.
It also improves the flexibility of the spine and also improves posture.
I feel in every girl there is a spirit,

✨🌟 Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana) 🌟✨
🤓 This post is to support the previous video post. •
🔹 Cobra Pose 🐍 in my humble opinion is wayyy more challenging to achieve mastery in than Upward-Facing Dog Pose (Urdhva Much Svanasana) 🐕 because most of the time, one would just push up with their arms into the backbend putting all the burnt into the lower-back.
🔹 The challenge as an instructor is to guide practitioners to learn to avoid this, because by just solely creating the backbend of Cobra Pose from the lower-back, wear-and-tear happens (i.e. injury, pain etc.) from over compression due to the wrong engagement of this action.
☝🏻 The spine within the lower-back is naturally more flexible than the middle-and-upper-back, thus it is easy to overdo the arch there (lower-back).
▪️ RED CIRCLE ❤️ : The main action should come from equally bending the back-body along the whole spine (including the neck), especially learning to access the power that comes from the middle-and-upper-back.
▪️ YELLLOW ARROW ⬅️💛: Use the back-body starting from the floating ribs to PUSH strongly into the front-body driving the frontal-chest forward and UP! •
▪️ RED ARROW ➡️❤️: Use arms to drive back towards the side-hips, keeping the elbow-points low maintaining as much as you can manage the distance of one ping-pong ball 🏓 from the ground. Forearms (lower-arms) stay low, fingers claw into the ground dragging back and upper-arms move back with the shoulder-heads. •
❗️ Always engage the abdominal and pelvic 🍑 locks (Uddiyana and Mula Bandha) to support and protect the lower-back so one can reach deeper, opening from the middle-and-upper-back.

After another non sleep night because of the baby, instead of being grumpy once again I decided to come outside for the sunrise.
This is how my husband caught me, hiding from the mosquitos and listening to the sounds of the nature preparing for a brand new day.
