Today I'm grateful for sunsets and sunrises. Each one signals a change, a shift, the closing of one chapter and the opening of another.
Plus they are so darn pretty 😍🌅 #7daysofgratitude#day4#sunrise#sunset
Change tends to come in the most interesting of shapes, but it's only when you see it reaching the youngest when it becomes real, for that's where it grows roots, in order to expand and become bigger. .
Very recently, I had a lady sign up for my class with her young daughter, who is just under 10 years old, and that was the moment when I knew "I'd made it." Doesn't mean that I don't appreciate all of my students the same -- I do and I've said it so many times in the past. However that day, looking at this lady's smiling eyes as she told me about her daughter, I knew this was it. *It* it: when a parent will trust you enough to bring their kid to you, that's when you know that your work is finally growing roots somewhere, that there's hope for a better world, that everything you've been doing these past few years was leading right here, to this very moment, to the laughter of this mother and her daughter as they try all the different yoga poses *together*. It doesn't matter if they fail or if they succeed, if they master a pose or if they're interested in philosophy: what matters to me now is that they have this space and, if anything, there will be a day in the future when these days will be a memory of them: TOGETHER. United. In yoga.
Please accept this as my #stopdropyoga for you: @mjoyogini @samratpasham @noob.yogi @imahzulk @sakshiguptayoga @belleyoga.tokyo — I'm pretty sure some of you don't even remember tagging me at this point, as some of these are months old, but I never forget and I always pay my debts. There! .
Tagging some amazing people to play if they’re up for it, whenever and wherever!!

Can’t believe it’s mid November, and 80 degrees!!! Jumped outta the pool... but only only long enough to get a pic for day 2️⃣2️⃣ of the #iHeartYogaGivesThanks challenge!
- #TwistedRunnersLunge ( #ParivrttaAnjaneyasana ) -What is something you love in nature?
Fresh air, butterflies, setting up a hammock, long hikes, waterfalls, picking fresh fruit, picknics, and of course #YogaInThePark
Warmed up enough and giddy enough to stop & be a nerd at the park today. The weather is so balmy!
Sometimes, during all this bustle it’s important to take time out for yourself. Selfcare-one word! Carve out time to take care of your own needs. Rest. Breath. Stretch. Eat. Hydrate. Drink wine. Put it on the calendar! How do you selfcare?
Happy holidays from all of us at Yoga Moves Us! We hope you all have a wonderful holiday. After the the next few days of skyrocketing our cortisol levels from food, travel, and that one family member (you know the one) join us for a nice sweaty flow lead by @trynicki
Today I'm grateful for stillness.
Living in a big city can mean constant hustle and bustle. One is constantly moving from place to place, running for metros, weaving through other pedestrians and living in a perpetual state of 'what next'? I love finding sanctuaries of calm to break away from it all. Even if it's a small park in the middle of the city, the tranquility it brings me is vital for my well being.
I stop. I breathe. I exist in stillness. I exist in now.
“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to experience everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.” ~ John Milton ✨
I’m between studios at the moment, but you can catch me for gratitude-focused Thanksgiving Yoga in the Park tomorrow morning from 8:30-9:30 at Lake Lily Park in Maitland. Bring a friend! 🙏🏽❤️✨

Day 9 #humbledandthankful
Pose: Legs up a wall
Verse: Colossians 3:15-17
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
