Flying over Russia.
Headphones on, trying to catch up with everything and everyone.
Massive bags under my eyes and, once again, a belly full of emotions!
And a few things need to sink in still. Like the fact that I AM OFFICIALLY A YOGA TEACHER. Me! Yes! I am! And I can’t wait to start teaching! I can’t wait to spread what I’ve learnt.
I found yoga because I was looking for mental peace. I wasn’t in a good place and I had heard that yoga can help find your balance and calm your mind.
Well it worked. It worked so damn fine! With a lot of effort and patience that’s for sure, but when the results start to ripple, it is one good sensation! For me, one of the main reason why I wanted to become a yoga teacher is that I want to help other people feel like that. Feel like you’re worthy of love, like you’re so much stronger than you think, I want to help you unleash that energy inside you and radiate it throughout your all body and mind. I want to teach you the yoga that leaves you calm and balanced but energized and empowered at the same time. I want you to learn to feel powerful. And I would love nothing more than maybe, just make you smile.
As my wise philosophy teacher @sudhir.rishi says, smile is your birthright! 😁✨
I send love to you all ♥️ and I wish you an incredible week! And if you’re in London and you’re interested in taking some classes with me, shoot me a private message 🤩
Here’s to renewed inspiration and open lines of communication! I feel there is a need to sincerely apologize for not giving enough attention to YOU, my followers, over the past year. Even though I always read comments, YOU don’t know I read them and that’s not fair. I have not been taking the time to respond and check out your pages to see what you’ve been up to. THAT changed a few days ago... some of you may have noticed. I’m not saying I’ll go back and check 20 posts ago for new comments nor am I saying I won’t have some busy days where I can’t, but I will do my very best to keep up with at least the last few days worth. So if you’ve asked me a question on a post and I never got back to you, ask it again on this one! If you want me to check out your last post, leave a comment for me to do so on any post moving forward. I’m sorry it has been a one way street lately. Thank you a million for always supporting me and my family! I encourage each and every one of you to do the same with your followers! Pay it forward and let’s continue to inspire and open the lines of communication. ❤️

Haftasonu Godfrey Devereux workshopu vardı, ( @cihangiryoga ) ondan bir alıntı: "They made yoga about what you can do and how you do it. But yoga has nothing to do with your physical capacity. It's not only irrelevant but also dangerous; from spiritual, psychological and physical point of view. All you need to do yoga is your willingness to feel."
Here's a few photos of me having great fun playing around on my mum's yoga swing this weekend 😁
I think with any sort of fitness, it's so important to have fun. After all, that's the only way you'll stick with it! 😊 This includes asana practice. I know a lot of yogis who are so deathly serious about getting postures perfect... they even scoff at beginners for trying?! 😒 It's that whole holier than thou cult "you can't sit with us" vibe I hate. Where people think unless you're meditating several hours a day, denying yourself all earthly pleasures and chasing green smoothies with turmeric lattes, you're doing it wrong 🙄
For me, having fun in yoga is so important. It's okay to laugh and smile in class (trust me, I've been to so many places where students won't even look at each other) and it's okay to fail and fall flat on your face 😘 It's okay to giggle and make stupid remarks and it's okay to challenge the status quo 💪 Yoga is a serious business, it's a whole ancient belief system after all, but it's not meant to become so fucking dull and rigid that it sucks the joy from life ❤💜💚 HAVE FUN WITH YOUR PRACTICE and enjoy the journey.
“You will have to create the path by walking yourself; the path is not ready-made, lying there and waiting for you. It is just like the sky: the birds fly, but they don't leave any footprints. You cannot follow them; there are no footprints left behind.” - Osho
