Ma ja kiki wa Orun (praise the power of heaven) ✨
My ancestor guides told me may the Orishas descend from Orun to Aiye (heaven/earth) and colorfully dance around in your world as they did in mine.
I️ worship my Black God and Black divinities of God, I️ have intimate relationships with them, some stronger than others and they always humble me, mature and even have brought me to tears at times but I am always guided to fulfill my destiny with confidence.
I️ have a purpose, I️ have always felt connected to my Orishas but after being in Bahia, Brazil and seeing how beautifully they are worshiped, the festivals, the philosophy, the art, the music and preserved languages connected to the religion, having been up close and personal in an African religious dominant city, seeing the healthiness and positivity of it for Black People and seeing the 100’s and 100’s of Ilê’s(worship houses) that rival the number of churches. It was the most natural decision as an African descendant to take on a system of my ancestors. When I️ was ready Orishas chose me, I️ did not chose them. I️ knew once I️ left I️ had to take them back to the USA with me, I️ was called to set out this year on a path of connecting to my roots and to reclaim and defend what was stolen from me and forcefully beaten out of my ancestors who were enslaved and brought in shackles during the horrific journey of the Trans-Atlantic slave voyages where many did not even make it to this land called the United States of America, doing my DNA test was only a small page in my journey.
I️ come from a line of strong people, warriors, dancers, story tellers, farmers, musicians, I️ am a preserver of Black history and culture, I️ ❤️ and deeply respect Afro-Brazilian #Candomblé and Yoruba #IFA African Traditional Religions with all my heart and soul for they returned this child home in the spiritual sense.
Mo dupe Olodumaré, ese gun my amazing friends in these traditions that I️ am constantly learning from each day and the wonderful Babalawos and Iyanifas who kindly assist me, #Asè Irê ooo 🙏🏽✨ #panafricanism#decolonize#harlem#nyc

Only THREE Havana guides are left. Grab one while you can (purchase link in bio). @kararbrown says, "I really appreciated how CrushGlobal had been to all the restaurants, museums and markets in Havana before my visit. It felt like knowledge and ideas I could trust rather than having to do the guessing or research myself."
