Last night I read an excerpt from John Muir's Yosemite Falls at Night. It made me long to be back in the valley of this national park, to lean back against forest old growth, to linger in the high elevation of Tuolumne Meadows, to take in the vast views from Glacier Point of skyline to valley. When I awoke this morning it's whisper awoke with me calling my spirit "Come to me". SLIDE RIGHT TO LEFT 3 📷 taken on my iPhone
Spent 7 hrs finishing the round trip of Yosemite Fall Trail. It was basically cold, foggy, and snowy during the whole trip. Met a Chinese traveller at the beginning and then grouped up together. Wouldn't say something as fancy and inspired as it's worth it cause I made much more effort but see less views than I could have seen in a sunny day. Totally unforgettable though. Had fun. 😎#yosemitenationalpark#hiking#yosemitefalls
Iceland will always hold a special place in my heart with its breathtaking, unwavering, raw, and unmerciful-cold beauty... But Yosemite National Park is like a picture-perfect painting that you only see in a museum. It's so gorgeous and perfect that it seems fake...But it's not.
Considered to be one of America's most amazing hikes (and one of the world's favorite rock climbing challenge), I highly recommend anyone to visit. But be warned that no matter how good your camera lens is, photos will never do justice to Mother Nature's beauty. ❤️
And to give you a sense of how big these granite walls are: 3rd picture, zoom in to the bottom of the picture. You can see how tiny the people are. 😉
