Ive learnt so much over the past year and a half but THIS is one of the biggest!!!! Until you take responsibility for your own choices in life you can never move forward. Yes at first after my relationship with my ex ended I spent months blaming him, researching about Narcissists, feeling sorry for myself, not believing how id been deceived. Now im over the hurt and the realisation that my ex gave me one of the greatest gifts ive ever been given - the blessing of the journey to myself - I can see the bigger picture. I was just as much to blame for that toxic relationship as he was. He gave me something I craved, needed, wanted. I wasnt held hostage, I went into the relationship happily. Yes I ignored my gut feeling about him, another lesson, but I stayed. I believed his lies and forgave his tantrums when I could have walked away. He knew I wanted love and attention and thats what he gave me. My belief of love, my belief of attention, my belief of what a truly loving relationship was however, now I realise that it wasnt love, it wasnt passion, it wasnt something out of a disney film, it was control, manipulation , jealousy, insecurity and two damaged souls wanting to finally believe that their version of love had happened acting in a way that they only knew how!!!! We only have ourselves to blame for most of our experiences (admittingly some things are out of our control) but in the majority we do create our circumstances.

Life moves fast: it's exhausting to try to keep up with it, so it's important to take a step back and remember the things you want to focus on and what you care to make time for. There's always more to do, new things moving and happening. It's tempting to try to stay on top of all of it, to acknowledge every request, and end up at the end of the day with no time spent towards yourself or your proactive goals.
While travel can be hectic, it's actually one of my favorite things to be on an airplane or train with no access to wifi or email or messages (say no to airplane wifi!!). Just a podcast to listen to or a book to read (hah what-just kidding - I don't read books, clearly this is a lie... but hey I can dream ☺️). I rarely take time to sit still and think and even if it's just for a short hour or so flight like today, a bit introspection can go a long way.
🌜For a moment I want you to:
Take time to slow down.
Take time for yourself.
Time IS under your control.
Set an intention to make the most of the hours in each day.
Then DO what you intend to do,
surrounded by people who do the same and who care about you.

We are all guilty of this. We get stressed out about situations happening where we feel powerless. We feel as if we have absolutely no control over the situation.
When I am feeling this way, I try to think about the things I can control rather than what I cannot. For example, instead of being upset about traffic, I turn on some music and sing along and you know I try and hit every note ( no I cannot sing but I try 😂) I try to enjoy my time with my fav music. Remembering to be in the moment; or listen to a comedy show/podcast.
Instead of yelling at someone or blaming, I take a deep breath and explain how I am feeling rather than yelling/ lashing out.
We have more control over our reactions/mindset than we think. So even though at the moment it may feel like we are powerless/not in control, we are in fact in control. We are in control of our reactions. So next time you are feeling stressed out, take a step back and try looking at it in the positive and/or try an affirmation and choose to let go.

"If we wait until we are ready, we'll be waiting the rest of our lives." This quote speaks VOLUMES to me and SO many of the scary decisions I've made in life. I've recently looked closely at every reason I've come up with when I'm faced with something that pushes me outside my comfort zone and I've come to the realization that they are just EXCUSES, strategically placed in my thoughts (by me) as a way to HOLD ME BACK from achieving great things.
WHY would I want to hold myself back? For FEAR of failing, of not being GOOD ENOUGH, of not being able to COMPLETE what it is I'm setting out to do, for fear of being without. And guess what? NOT taking action leaves me stagnant. . . going NOWHERE. . . not GROWING as my heart desires me to do.
I am NOT alone in this. I find that SO MANY of us give all our power to the WHY WE CAN'T rather than the WHY WE CAN. We spend too much time in the FEAR.
We will even go as far as to BLAME our shortfalls in life, our misfortunes, our circumstances for why we CAN'T move forward.
When you find yourself stuck in the "Blame Game" or coming up with excuse after excuse as to why you CAN'T do something, TAKE ACTION. Take one BABY STEP FORWARD towards getting outside of your fear rather than allowing yourself to live inside of it.
The hard truth in life (super hard for me to swallow at times) is YOU are in control of your life. YOU are making the choices. YOU are the creator of what you are feeling. Ugh. Hurts a little, but accepting this truth can give you so much freedom to make the choices that bring you happiness.
If you had told me 6 months ago I would be able to quit my job and start living the life of my dreams while helping others to do the same I would of said that's crazy -
The transformation I have experienced in the last 6 months has totally changed my mindset. -
Took me from feeling unfulfilled and feeling trapped always disappointing my family and friends because I had to work all the time, to totally living the life I always wanted. :)

It's crazy how much can change in a year. Within less than a year I have completed some goals and I am in the process of completing other goals. I became a 🌱vegetarian, a 💫reiki master and now a successful 🏡homeschool mama. I also 🏋exercise on a daily, which I wasn't doing before. I remember this time last year I "didn't have time" to exercise or "it wasn't the right time". I have learned to fit all of these things into my daily life. It has all now become a lifestyle. There's still more things I must accomplish before the year is over. You see I am and have been looking for individuals to work with, people who actually wanna change their lifestyle. People who want to get healthier and help others do the same. I'm so tired of excuses. I wanna work with someone who is serious about changing their life and won't make EXCUSES. Anyone can make an excuse but not everyone makes lifestyle changes. I'm molding my life and my future to what I want it to be and I don't have time for lazy people. If you are tired of your life too and you're ready to make some healthy lifestyle changes or make some 💵money then hit me up! But if you're just gonna pretend you wanna change your life and then go make EXCUSES don't even bother because not only are you wasting MY time but your wasting your own too. The concept of fear.. everything that exist around you tells you that you can't but by controlling your thoughts through positive self talk, you have everything within you to motivate yourself and say you can. Speak life over what attempts to break you and keep you at a standstill. Don't let any fear keep you from taking the steps to move forward, accomplish your life moments, and receive what you rightfully deserve.
