Butternut squash soup (I made my own the day before- boil cubed butternut squash in chicken stock/broth, then blend in the Vitamix till smooth and creamy, season with Himalayan sea salt and nutmeg😋) I got the organic butternut squash already cubed and the organic chicken stock at Costco! It's finally starting to feel like fall here in Austin!🍂 Our diets should start to consist of more balancing and grounding foods to help the body adjust to the changing season. Your body tends to slow down during fall. You may experience dry skin, brittle nails and hair, uncharacteristic anxiety, or constipation. 
It's best to eat warm, cooked foods to help balance your body's reaction to the cool, dry weather.  Digestion starts in your mouth, so take time to enjoy and completely chew your food. This will take some stress of the lower part of your system.

I always loved taking pictures of myself and then there came a time in my life where I hated it. I avoided pictures, or would find an angle within the picture where you couldn’t notice how much weight I gained.

Even after trying to get back to that ideal workout routine of hours in the gym and such restrictive eating habits, it obviously wasn’t working for me.

And then I finally found something that did. I found a group of ladies who lift each other up and cheer each other on, every single day. I started using PCCs and drinking superfoods every single day, while also doing shorter, more intense workouts.

And you know what? I enjoy taking pictures again. I no longer am hiding behind certain outfits or posing in certain angles, I just take the picture ✌🏼

Week 2 I'm cutting out gluten containing carbs (bread, rice, pasta, etc). Easy chia chocolate shake recipe:
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 cup of almond milk or coconut milk
- I add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for taste as well

Just blend it all up and voila, breakfast!
