First, large portions make you eat more. If I could teach just one thing about nutrition, it would be this: Larger portions have more calories. Portion size is anything but obvious. Research repeatedly confirms that larger food servings not only provide more calories but also have two other effects. They encourage people to eat more and to underestimate how much they are eating. 😒

How to deal with the portion size problem? Use small plates and cups while eating. When eating out, order appetizers, not entrees. Order the smaller size, or share larger portions with friends. 😋

This is pretty much what I use to measure:

Fist ✊️ - One serving of Raw Fruits or Vegetables

Cupped Hand 👋- One serving of Pasta or Cooked Vegetables

BAKLAVA AND TURKISH DELIGHT HAVE RUNIED ME!!😂 So 10 days in Turkey all inclusive could have resulted in traumatic results! But I made healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner choices with out feeing like I was missing out ( the food was amazing!) and I even took time out for some lengths in the pool, a workout in the gym and a few hill runs! I know some will think I am mad but to be fair this makes me happier than sitting still!! All inclusive alcohol... Yes I had a couple of G&T's and some wine but I drank water by the bucket load and chose not to drink alcohol every day as I didn't feel the need to! 
BUT..... After dinner every night I was presented with endless assortments of the most amazing sweet treats that tasted out of this world! To say I sampled a few would be an understatement! My Baklava and Turkish delight consumption made up for my reduced alcohol and healthy meal options! 
So as its Monday morning I will be hitting the re-start button and going cold turkey this week! No Baklava.... No turkish delight and back to my amazing Breakfast smoothies to help me shift the extra body fat I brought home which is making me feel a bit 'fluffy'! Times like these make me feel forever grateful for having Herbalife Nutrition! 💚
