Decided to treat myself to a new shirt. I’ve been obsessed with flannel lately, so I gravitated towards these. I ultimately went with the second one even though I really liked the third. The third was two sizes too big and a little short for my liking and they didn’t have the smaller one in store for me to try on. It’s crazy to me to be buying a size medium, when I used to have to get a size 2 or 3 from Maurices’s plus size section. #nsv Hopefully everyone is having a great weekend!

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
This is one of my favorite questions I ask my clients when starting out. It opens up a whole other realm of possibilities. I’m amazed at how often I’m working with people who are feeling stuck in their careers, or in some area of their lives, and they don’t know what to do or which direction to go. Well, they “think” they’re stuck.
What’s really happening is that feeling of being stuck is just an illusion created by the ego, which thinks it’s protecting you. It thinks that if it tells you all the potential obstacles, it will prevent you from getting hurt (failing).
but all it’s really doing is limiting you. Limiting you not only from growing and experiencing, but even from imagining and dreaming. When we listen to our ego, we don’t even allow ourselves to explore what’s possible. Before we get there, the ego jumps in with its strong opinion: “but no, that won’t work because you’re not good enough. You’re not experienced enough. You don’t have enough money. It will take too long. There’s already so many other people doing that. It will be too hard. Blah blah f*ing blah…”
First, I️ challenge you: dare to dream bigger - dream without knowing how, when, or how much. Just Dream. Next, maybe it’s time to look at - and possibly redefine your definition of success and failure. After all, even if you don’t “succeed”, is it really “failure”if you grew, you learned, you tried, you experienced?

Some people will turn a blind eye to your struggles & pretend you don't exist until better times arrive. Then they're your 'best friend'. Where were they during your struggles? Sometimes it's as simple as listening to your body and resting when she needs rest.
It's allowing yourself to speak up when protecting your boundaries and energy.
It's making your own decisions about your own life .. and feeling confident in your decision-making.
It's examining your emotions and giving them the acknowledgment that they need in order to move THROUGH you. And then giving yourself permission to release them.
It's learning forgiveness. For the sake of yourself..so that YOU can move forward.
Sometimes we have to forgive other people.
Sometimes we have to forgive OURSELVES.
It's choosing YOURSELF over any. other. person.
Because you matter.
Because you're WORTHY.

You can’t judge how perfect (or imperfect) someone's life is based on what they post on social media... 🖤 Facebook doesn't tell us about the person that is secretly suffering from dark thoughts or desperation.
🖤 Or the person that secretly loves winter because the clothes can cover their skin conditions.
🖤 Or the mama that is just too tired to keep going and wondering when she'll catch a break.
🖤 Or the person that plans their day around trips to the bathroom because their stomach is always fighting them.
🖤 Or the person that can't work out because their joints ache when they just try to walk up the stairs.
🖤 Or the kid that is so anxious they don't want to leave their parents side.
