I have a few suggestions on how to safely approach bold colours:
1. Start with kids rooms. Worst case if the colour doesn’t turn out - tell people the kids picked it 😉
2. Accessorize with colour. Using colour with things you can remove from a space or switch out, make for a less permanent experiment.
3. Keep a room monochromatic. To help unify a space, try a lighter version of your colour on walls and experiment with different shades and hues in accessories, coverings and furnishings.
4. Try a using bold colour in a powder room or other smaller room such as an office or den that closes off from your main living space. The risk is smaller and you can still pack a punch in these rooms.

Picture this: A group of young professionals all live in this building and they randomly meet in the outodoor common area over a few weeks. They all become best friends and have BBQs and hikes and late night Salt Lake City adventures together. More movies should be shot in Salt Lake with our super cool original buildings setting the scene!
