The designer’s (aka an exhausted 10 year old’s) last words to me as he fell asleep:
“You should finish stitching the crowns “
Me (aka Mama) : “Yes Boss”
Glad to know he is motivated to be ready for this Sunday (a week earlier than planned)
When people asked how did I do this, well I did not do this alone. I must thanked all my teachers in Tunas Mekar, my Parents, my Family and my Team Herlysa!! 😊☺️🌈 @herlysa.vegan
They are the ones who developed me. Enable me to transition successfully to adulthood and also help me to pursue my dreams by harnessing creativity and energy. #herlysa#alhamdulillah#youthentrepreneur#womenentrepreneur#malaysiaentrepreneur

No matter how small our contribution is, we all have a role in driving positive social change within our communities 🌿🌎 Whether it is supporting a local social enterprise or making ethical consumption choices, let's all look for opportunities to think globally, and act locally 👏🏼💡
As much as you are excited about an idea, as much as it feels like you have the best idea anyone could ever think of. It's very important to know that it's just you who is enthusiastic and excited about the idea and you can as well be deceiving yourself to believe that it's workable.😏
What is a feasibility study? Feasibility study simply means asking people informed questions about the possibility of an idea. It doesn't always have to be a structured survey or a questionnaire. It could just be as simple as asking people around about their thoughts about the idea. When I started @nigerianshowcase and @bookmeconsulting I asked people, I doubted myself and I didn't feel I knew it all.
Being positive about your idea doesn't mean it's the right thing to do at that point in time. You are not going to be selling to yourself remember? So you need the opinion of the market you want to sell to. For example : "Toke, would you like to buy this product and for how much, if no, why, if yes, why?" It could be that simple 🤷. Ask questions. From response you begin to gain more clarity about what it is you are set to do and it's importance.
The same thing goes for artists, I don't think it's a big deal to ask people "what do you feel about this beat? Would it sell? Should I go into hip-hop?" That's the way it is!
P. S Try to carry out this survey with neutral people and get honest opinions from them. You wouldn't want someone who would talk you down or deceive you to make you feel better out of hate or pity. So a neutral person or mentor is not a bad idea. It's better not to start at all than starting without being fully informed about the market.😔

Who is excited? 💃
In just 54 hours, young entrepreneurs are equipped with the tools, skills and knowledge to get started on driving social change in their communities 🙏🏼🌱Bhutan's #YouthCoLab Start Up Weekend on Eco-tourism gave young entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their innovative solutions in front of His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Bhutan 💡💡 These change-makers demonstrated that economic growth does not have to come at the expense of the environment and local ecosystems 💪🏼🐳
Your business idea is either solving a problem or you don't have a business idea at all.
It must bring a solution to a PRESSING need. when your product or service is bringing a direct solution to a pressing need then every other thing falls in place. You don't have to stress so much on marketing because most likely your clients will be the one looking for you. Just like you don't get forced to buy pure water 😂 your business idea should be that attractive to anyone who listens to it.
But note, just because I said an idea must be solving a pressing need doesn't mean your idea has to be out of this world or something no one has ever thought of. Your idea could be solving an indirect need from an existing product.
What do I mean, for example, the need for communication brought about cell phones but Mobile Apps and different specks incorporated on a cell phone solves another pressing need under communication.(you could chat, watch videos, send pictures etc)
So either ways you must be bringing to the table something people need. If not, you might just need to review your 'business idea'
