🔥Better Quad Stretching🔥
Here are a few options to stretch your quads in varying positions. One of the most common ways that people perform quad stretching incorrectly is that they fail to stabilize their pelvis, causing it to anteriorly tilt and their lumbar spine to extend. This diminishes the stretch on the quads, specifically the rectus femoris, which crosses both the hip joint and the knee joint. It can also contribute to pain in your lower back if you are sensitive to lumbar spine extension positioning.
The consistent theme is that you need to maintain a contraction of your abs and glutes to stabilize your pelvis and keep your spine in a neutral position throughout the duration of the stretch.
👉 Hold the stretch for 30 to 60 seconds or as long as you need to feel the muscle relax and your motion improve.
