Dinner was this yummy Sanuki udon with seaweed soup using both Chinese + Korean seaweed, spinach and spring onions. Topped with home made dumplings for a meaty fix 🍜🌱🥟 If you guys love udon, I highly recommend buying the frozen Sanuki udon from Japan Centre or Rice Wine Shop on Brewer Street. The texture is bouncy and full of bite like freshly made udon, and it doesn’t have that horrible preserved aftertaste unlike the generic udon from Asian supermarkets.
A mouth full of wonderful!

Mexican inspired grilled chicken salad for lunch! I don't think this picture does justice to just how delicious this chicken taco-esque salad with lime dressing was! It had leafy lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers, green onions, tomatoes, cilantro, cheese, grilled chicken, crushed tortilla chips and salsa but the real star was the lime dressing! How to make lime dressing: squeeze half a lime. Add a pinch of chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, 1 tsp sugar and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Whisk together and that's it!! It packs a lot of delicious flavor! Enjoy! 😍#tacosalad#freshmexicanfood#yummy#lunch#lunchvibes#healthy2018#delicious#grilledchickensalad#limedressing#cilantrolime#yumyum

Tonight was an EAT IN experience at Park Farm neighbourhood retail precinct.
Two options of the “mini-fish” offering were on the menu: small and large. It is very little surprise that we went for LARGE.
P R I C E
The large mini fish “weighed in” at £5.40
Q U A N T I T Y
The large presented as what one would expect from a mini fish offering save for the curry sauce which in this case clearly was a LARGE. Wonderful news because I always run out.

Approx. 7” long in a light, crispy batter the white flaking cod was cooked to perfection and glistened upon closer inspection. The perimeters were supremely crispy and packed with flavour however the top and base were not. Still, a very good effort, and clearly a very fresh fillet.

The crisp that was lacking at Zan Fish has appeared in abundance tonight coupled with soft and fluffy potato centres. A chip as a chip should be. A good range of sizes (or lengths) in the mix with approx. 15% scraps which made for a satisfying finish.

Apologies have been accepted for the absence of a particular fella tonight therefore we have not been able to sample the mushy peas. The curry sauce was pitched in the middle of the road. Not runny, yet not thick either it did have a subtle “bite” to it yet it was not overly flavoursome. There were minuscule onion pieces floating within it adding texture. The large size ensures adequate sauce to fish and chip ratios were maintained throughout.

A very satisfying catch tonight and certainly the best yet. We ate in yet were served in the traditional manner with cardboard boxes and grease proof paper with wooden forks. The experience therefore felt authentic.
There were a couple of small touches that did not go unnoticed particularly the small pot of tartar sauce and wedge of lemon nestled within the box.
Cod that was good...! A solid 4⭐️
