Flights are usually a bit tricky. What should you bring, can you eat something on the plane? Should you bring your own food? Will there be any food at the airport? .
I must say that I wasn't disappointed at the choices on board the easyJet flights.
Or maybe I'm just not used to a lot of options. Either way, it's nice to be able to buy something if you get hungry.
There was a rice noodle soup, oat porrige, fruit smoothie, dried fruit bar, crisps, popcorn. 🍿
My flight was really short. All I did was bring a coffee. But it's good to know for future flights that you can get something..
And at Gatwick airport it was a breeze. If you're in a rush you can just pop into the M&S Simply Food and grab a sandwich, wrap or a muffin and eat it at the gate or on the plane.
You might want to think about stocking up on sandwich bread or gf buns or maybe a couple of those new sourdough sandwich thins. They are nice and 'thin' you can eat them as is, but they can be toasted as well and they keep a while. You can squeeze those in your bag somewhere.. just in case..
If you have more time you can have your pick.
There is a Jamie's, if you're in for a full meal, they serve gf pasta. Next door is a Wagamama just above the M&S Simply Food in the North terminal. (easyJet flights departures) .
Pret a Porter for a salad or just coffee/tea/juice and something sweet/crisps/popcorn. (No gf sandwich!)
