Audiobook #6 for the year is We’re Alive: A “Zombie” Story of Survival, Season 1.
We’re Alive is a breakthrough audio drama with a deep story, interesting characters, and a terrifying end of the world scenario! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an extremely high quality (and terrifying) story to help you through your day.
Beware of driving while listening, however! The sound effects can be quite jarring!
Chapter 1 noob 😯
As I woke up in a world that seems familiar but unknown to me with only but a sign to guide me it seemed that I was destined to either die or survive what seem to be the Apocalypse.. 😐
After shouting out for help like a crazy manic and hoping that someone would respond to my cry for help I decided it was time to move on and find a place to call home, that's when I came across a an abandoned house in a scary desolated burn land .. 7 days had passed since I had decided to call the abandoned old house my home, but little did I know that what I believe to be my new home was actually my death trap. On that 7 Day the blood moon had risen and from the shadows of the night in the far distance growls could be heard .. Before I knew it I had been surrounded, I could hear footsteps, scratching, growling and screaming it was at that moment that I realized I had fucked up.. I was not ready... I did the best I could to defend myself and my new home but in the end it was lost to the flood of savage zombie, I knew i had nothing left here, so I decide to pack what I had left and find a new home....😔 #7daystodie#virus#infection#outbreak#apocalypse#theend#nutrition#fitness#reality#fun#times#like#lit#epic#gaming#cosplay#fun#amazing#zombies#story#telling#ps4#anime#lifestyle
I wish it was possible to drum this into the heads of my little sisters who are constantly glued to their phones, have their headphones in at family meals, Snapchat every living moment.. sometimes I wish they listened to me when I tell them to put their phone down and just enjoy life.
That video you are taking, will you ever watch it again? No, so why are you not just living in the moment instead of looking at the view through a camera? This is not just a dig at my little sisters because of course I adore them, but nothing is more infuriating than seeing kids becoming zombies.
Adults are just as bad; I went out for a meal the other night and I looked around at all of the tables, and every single table had at least 2 people on their phones during a family meal.. there was one table with two parents and a little boy.. the little boy was sat looking around bored whilst the mum and the dad were scrolling on Facebook- is that really what our world has become? Whatever happened to spending quality time with people you love.. Material things really are not important, think about what really matters to you.
