not my most photogenic meal but i was craving comfort food so i made zucchini noodles using a spirulizer and topped it with an avocado spinach pesto! i didn’t measure my ingredients, but i used half an avocado, 2 handfuls of spinach, a few table spoons of olive oil, nutritional yeast, and a ton of spices to make the pesto. i topped it with cherry tomatoes and more nutritional yeast (a cheese substitute!) #health#healthyfood#zoodles
Happy Thursday! For my dinner I cooked some plain grilled chicken, zucchini noodles(cooked on the stove with lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder, and tomatoes added in after!) The veggies are just broccoli and carrots (seasoned with oil, basil leaves, pepper, and garlic powder) roasted in the oven for 15-20 minutes! Lean and Green! Healthy doesn't have to hard. I get the feeling from messages I receive that some folks find eating healthy to be overwhelming and expensive. I say just do the best you can. I made this whole @21daysugardetox dinner from items from @aldiusa. I chopped up carrots, onion and celery and sautéed them in butter. When soft, I added a lb. of their grass-fed beef. When it was no longer pink, I added a can of crushed tomatoes and salt and pepper. I served it over spiralized zucchini and sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top. Boom, dinner.
Another staple. GLORY BOWLS! Beet zoodles, shredded carrot, cabbage (all raw) with chicken and an amazing sauce (tahini, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, nutritional yeast, water and garlic) SO GOOD.
Day 18 - sorry y’all I skipped yesterday because it was leftovers but today, we had a bit of a problem. For lunch I didn’t have anything prepped so I went to Publix and bought salad, turkey breast, and Primal Kitchen Caesar dressing (gluten, soy, dairy and GMO free) the dressing was disgusting. Into the oven! Medical Medium’s curry 🍛 recipe made me so hungry for noodles, but I didn’t have all the ingredients! So I did a make shift recipe with squash and zucchini noodles, mini tomatoes, pre-cooked gluten free red lentil rotini, spinach leaves, sea salt, organic spices, curry powder, drizzle of olive oil and tossed it in the oven!
