I had visions of decorating in only blues and silver for this first Christmas in our Florida home. But, that is not to be, as it is clear that I need to use all my old glass ornaments collected over many years, all my (adult) children’s handmade treasures, cutesy things from my country primitive days, inherited antique decorations, etc.
My editing skills are hopeless and I have no restraint so it’s Christmas through the ages in all colors and styles here. #noselfcontrol#christmasclutter
First time decorating for Christmas in Florida. We will be spending Thanksgiving in NY with the northern contingent of the family. When we come back we will be ready to celebrate the Christmas season with Dad and our southern family. #grateful#family#floridachristmas
This emerald green, rhinestone studded ball gown was hanging on the lamppost with a sign marked free during our neighborhood yard sale weekend. She just might be standing in for my Christmas tree this year.
Still settling in. Still getting used to different ways. Love being with Dad and my big sister Lynn. Miss my NY family and friends. Love the many thrift stores around. Love this $2 ironstone platter I found yesterday.
