Mini-me & little sister Julie doing her thing this morning at our club gym @dooleyshealthandfitness !! I took Julie under my wing as a BodyAttack trainee four weeks ago and ever since she has attended every one of my attack classes, taking on constructive feedback and improving every single time she teaches. I am so so proud of your achievements so far (and it's only been four weeks!) You continue to inspire an old BodyAttacker like me!! I can't wait to see you on stage one day soon with all your BodyAttack enthusiasm! You were born to do this!!!!!! .
Thank you also to the members and staff at @dooleyshealthandfitness for allowing me to mentor Julie - we all started at the same place and we would not be instructors  if it wasn't for all your support!!!

Don't be scared to make a life change. Yes it'll be hard. Yes some days you will fail. But if it means feeling good on the inside and feeling comfortable on the outside - isn't it worth failing and getting back up to try again? When you can finally answer yes - that's when you know you're ready.

My naturopath has helped me accept & deal with disappointment. She's having me focus on this concept know as #duality. Essentially with every good there will be a bad; and when I experience the bad(eg feeling underappreciated) it's important to try and think of better times (when I am acknowledged for my efforts) to help me deal and accept it.  So I say to myself - ok this terrible or disappointing thing has just happened to me but on the flip side, what can I be grateful thankful for? And what can I learn from this "bad" thing? How does this challenge me? It's a very interesting concept that has honestly helped me deal with a pretty shitty week so far (and it's only Tuesday). So the next time something happens that you don't expect- and leaves you upset or angry or disappointed- try and see the good  in it; find something to be grateful for as a result of it...

Chicken, pumpkin, mushroom and corn risotto. All my favourite ingredients topped with vegan cheese. The great thing about being intolerant is that you start to experiment and become a better cook! I reckon I make an awesome risotto and it only took 45mins :)
