I had this beauty a few weeks ago when I was in Edinburgh in a place called #Brunch . Lovely staff, great coffee and delicious food. It's right around the corner from the National Museum. 
Here I got and English muffin with cream cheese, smoked salmon and eggs benedict, with a side of hash brown. Maybe not the healthiest but I was on holiday and it was calling my name.

I can't even describe how much I loved this book. It applies to so much more than eating disorders and, I, personally think it's helped me with a few other behavioural or habitual struggles. Kathryn's story and how simple her technique/recovery was seems too good to be true but it's completely understandable. I think anyone should read this, whether you have an eating disorder, know someone who does or need help with an unrelated struggle, as this trick can be applied to so many things.

I had struggled with Binge Eating Disorder (BED) since I started college. I would go through periods of restriction in order to try to lose weight, whether it was cutting back on food or overexercising. Then I would have days, and sometimes weeks where I would stuff myself to the brim with food. This pattern continued pretty much until the end of my second year in college. It wasn't until I started macro tracking that my BED stopped affecting me. But I've had moments where I've fallen back into that pattern and that's why I bought this book. It helped me see that I had full control over everything I do. And could help me understand some of the struggles my clients could be going through.

If you're looking for a quick, cheap lunch but with really nice, tasty food then #CactusJacks on Millennium Walkway in #DublinCityCentre do 3 tapas for €10 between 12-4pm during the week. The portions are huge and very filling so it's perfect for mid-day hangriness.l!

C H I C K E N•

I made this meal the other day and it was so delicious I thought I would share the recipe. This meal is great because it has a good balance of protein (chicken), carbs (potatoes and broccoli) and fats (pesto). The macros are also really good for the volume of food you have.
•
Macros:
Cals: 397
P: 45g
C: 37g
F: 8g
•
To make the chicken:
-Simply slice along the side of the chicken to create an opening. -Place a small amount of pesto into the opening.
-Season the chicken with garlic powder, basil and more pesto on top.
•
The potatoes are about 200g of roasted baby potatoes. But you can use whatever you like.
I like to chop mine up and heat them for 8 mins in water in the microwave before placing them in the oven.
•
-Preheat over to 200°c on fan and place the potatoes and the chicken in the over for 15-20mins. -For the last 5mins I add the broccoli in order to just cook it lightly as I like mine crunchy.

Trying to fill in leftover carb and fat macros last night. So I opted for Greek yoghurt with apple cinnamon crisp and blueberries, and sliced apple with peanut butter (as opposed to the popcorn I was thinking of having). This is the much healthier option I guess. •

Finally starting to fill in my bullet journal and getting it set up for 2017. 
I've gone through about 100 journals in my life but I've never been consistent with them. I feel like bullet journaling will help as it's a mixture of writing and art. It's interesting, creative and you have the freedom to lay it out however you want instead of following a strict, boring format.
I'm going to be using this journal to schedule, plan, scrapbook memories, brainstorm and track ideas and more. So excited.

Nandos yasssss! I got chicken butterfly (in lemon and herb because it's my favourite sauce) and peri peri chips (gotta love that peri peri seasoning).
I usually have like 3 go to meals in Nandos that I alternate depending on my macros and what I have left in the day.
•
1. Chicken butterfly, corn-on-the-cob and macho peas for high protein, low carb and fat.
2. The above for high protein, high carb, low fat
3. And chicken quinoa salad (sometimes with an extra chicken breast) for high protein, low carb and high fat
•
They're some good tasty and healthy options if you're eating there!
