Praise Report: Here's an update on cyst removed from right thumb joint. Pathology report is good! Thank you prayer warriors! #TrustingGod in the midst of it all.
7 Days After Thumb Surgery - Ganglion Cyst removed from right thumb joint. As I mentioned earlier; three stitches and healing pretty good. But, I've been out and about all day trying my best not to bump this hand. 😳

I know y'all thinking. Oh my gosh! What in the heck is a ganglion cyst? That's exactly what I asked my doctor. 😳 A noncancerous lump, often on the tendons or joints of wrists and hands.
Here's a short introduction: Source WebMD - Ganglion Cyst Overview; A ganglion cyst is a (benign) tumor or swelling on top of a joint or the covering of a tendon (tissue that connects muscle to bone). It looks like a sac of liquid (cyst)
Ganglion cysts most commonly occur on the back of the hand at the wrist joint but they can also develop on the palm side of the wrist. When found on the back of the wrist, they become more prominent when the wrist is flexed forward. Other sites, although less common, include these:
The base of the fingers on the palm, where they appear as small pea-sized bumps
The fingertip, just below the cuticle, where they are called mucous cysts
The outside of the knee and ankle
The top of the foot
Ganglion Cyst Causes
The cause of ganglion cysts is not known. One theory suggests that trauma causes the tissue of the joint to break down, forming small cysts that then join into a larger, more obvious mass. The most likely theory involves a flaw in the joint capsule or tendon sheath that allows the joint tissue to bulge out.
Birthday in 15 days! Reflection:
For me, getting older doesn't mean throwing away a favourite-coloured lipstick or a fabulous pair of boots; instead, it's about harnessing all the great things I have learnt over the years about what does and doesn't suit me, and enjoying the way in which cleverly selected outfits can enhance the nice bits. - Twiggy

#DearSelf It's time to step into your DESTINY!
Diet vs. Lifestyle - I experimented with weight loss programs and within six months to a year of starting a diet, I returned to my bad eating habits and gained the weight back plus more. I ate myself in disrepair. Only you know when enough is enough. I knew giving up too much and feeling deprived wasn’t going to work this time.
I looked at every diet plan I’d ever been on and came up with a lifestyle plan that would that fit my daily routine and give me long-term results. Because at the end of every diet, you’ve got to get back to real life. …It’s a matter of making gradual, sustainable changes for life.
If I were to sum it all up, it really is all about finding what works for you – one plan is not going to work for everyone. The journey is so much more than losing weight.
Good Morning ☕️
Coffee and meal prep while the city sleeps. #MealPrep#getlostwithdeefoodprep
There is no better way to set yourself up for weight loss success than to prep your meals ahead of time! This is the last of the batch of #NoBread#NoFiller Meatballs I made and froze back in November. For the sauce, I will be using store bought low carb/sugar Marinara sauce that I have previously portioned out into ziploc bags according to serving size (1/2 Cup). One 24oz jar has 6 servings! ( Not Shown)
FOR THE SAUCE: use your favorite marinara/pasta sauce or you could go out on a limb and make your own. I look for good organic store bought low carb/low sugar sauce. The jarred stuff can be easily dressed up with additional mushrooms, garlic and Italian spices. Or a fresh herb or two....such as basil and parsley.
P.S. I'm Always Ready for a New Adventure.
Out on a limb? I'm gonna go out on a limb and make my own homemade marinara sauce. So, keep your eyes peeled on this space! 😜We know that followers come and go, but I'm still here, sitting at the table of #encouragement#Inspiration and #Motivation .
