Spent the day with @washingtontrails and an awesome group of people wrestling with rocks, digging in the dirt and rehabing trails. It was a lot of fun but now I’m sore and it’s time for pizza! 😎🍕
The weekend is so close! I’m ready to tromp around in some fall colors and mud puddles! 🍂☔️
I am always blown away (get it 😉) by the power of our planet both destructive and regenerative. Mt. St. Helens is so fascinating to me in that it’s an example of how nature always balances itself.
Post-hike views in Montana! 😍
Nothing like trudging through berry bushes for killer views! 👍Too bad it was too late in the season to pick up some snacks along the way!
Just a hint of Fall starting to show up in the mountains! Almost prime Larch viewing season! 🌲🍂
Up close and personal with volcanic moonscapes! #happyplace
Hidden gems are my favorite to find! 💎
Reminiscing about glacial fields and slushee colored lakes. 💙
Fluffy plants in a tree graveyard. The area affected by this wildfire was burned a few years back due to a lighting strike within Glacier NP.

Back in Washington, tromping around volcano land! 🌋
"Don't you know that everybody's got a Fairyland of their own?" - Mary Poppins
Perfect morning, perfect weather, perfect place.
Caught a perfectly timed break from the wildfire smoke that revealed an AWEsome landscape carved by ancient rivers of ice.
It's amazing how one person's actions can be so destructive. My heart is broken over the fires in the Columbia Gorge started by careless behavior. This place is so special to me for a number of reasons first of which being its immense beauty. Always leave these wild spaces as (or better than) you found them and be aware of fire restrictions so they are available for everyone to enjoy. 😞
Definitely now see what all the fuss is about... you win this round Montana! 😍
