Today I’m feeling amazing! (Funny what 4 days of entirely clean eating does to ya🤷🏼‍♀️😉)

BUT yesterday was somewhat of a train wreck 🚂 We woke up late (okay, nbd), but that led us to throwing random meals together before we had to head out the door. We also had to quickly reconfigure our meal times, which ended up not being correct at the end of the day 🤦🏼‍♀️ SO I completely skipped a meal yesterday (def on accident). Can you say #hangry !?😳

And believe me.. I’m not trying to hold onto this bad day for so long, I’m just trying to make a point... TODAY IS A NEW DAY, GUYS! ☀️Yesterday we messed up; today we got up, killed our workout AND stayed on track.💪🏼

Don’t let one goofed up day mess up your entire week, month, etc. (I totally used to think I always had to start on a Monday). Just forget it & keep killing it💃🏼

I’m really loving this going to sleep by 9 thing😉 I’ve been trying so so hard to stop with electronics 1/2 hour to an hour before bedtime! It’s hard, like really hard, but I’m slowly catching on!

Today was weird.. I got upset at myself because I couldn’t do some moves. Sometimes the bands would roll funny. I couldn’t balance. Brandon kept taking over my space.

I got mad, but took a second to remember it’s my second day... it’s not going to be all rainbows and unicorns and I’ll be able to do every move perfectly. It’s day two. These are moves and equipment I don’t do regularly so obviously I’m going to need practice!

Take your time, go at your own pace. There’s no need to get frustrated... take a pause, then a breath and then jump back in💗

Sooo something happened. Here’s the real truth & nothing but the truth 👏🏼

I stopped drinking my superfood shake around Halloween (maybe a couple weeks before?) because I was doing “good”. I didn’t think I needed to drink one of my meals. To be honest, it was getting a bit spendy for the two of us every day.

As always, I’ve been focusing on eating clean and getting my workouts in, but these past few months I’ve felt off. I used to have tons of energy, be able to wake up early & hit the ground running, NOT hit a mid afternoon brick wall.

What the hell happened!?! I was doing the same things as before yet seeing no progression & feeling so “unhealthy”.... I knew what was missing.
.
👉🏼I FOUND the extra money 💰. (Going out to eat less, buying store brand groceries, going to Target less 😂). AND NOW— I’m feeling strong, healthy, energized, confident💪🏼

If it’s a priority in your life, you’ll make it happen. There’s a lot of excuses to tell yourself, but they’re just that- EXCUSES.

Find the time.
Find the resources.
Nobody is going to do it for you.

Have you ever tried focusing on the negative part of the push up?! I LOVE having a virtual trainer tell me what to do- never would I ever have went to the gym and do 15 negative pushups🤷🏼‍♀️

Try this out— 15 reps. In plank, lower yourself to the floor (controlled & with the arms slightly wider than your shoulders) for a count of 3. Raise up to plank for one count. So, three seconds down followed by one second up.

It’s nice to be back to my normal routine.
It’s nice to not be eating my breakfast & snacks from a ziplock baggie. I like being able to read my book on my couch. I like snuggling the pups a little longer. Holiday break was fun, but I’m happy to have structure again😊
