Things I value in a relationship more than a legal contract: genuine love, trust, a shared sense of humour, kindness, empathy, reliability, mutual understanding, time, memories, struggles and successes faced, and a life purposefully built together. There's more, but you get it.
Growing up I was not witness to any examples of what love (of any kind) should look like so I'm proud of the way I live my life. I hope you are too. Don't wait until it's too late to focus on what's really important✌️
(PS this is not designed as an insult to the constitution of marriage or to question it's relevance/validity)
