Peter is out of harm’s way and ready to find his forever home! Please share! Repost from @ashleyrp101: “**Let's get Peter adopted to a forever home, please share this post** Hello Everyone! Here's an update on Peter, his adopters gave him back to me, his former foster due to behavioral issues that they wanted to euthanize him for. After a performance evaluation, with an amazing trainer, they confirmed what I knew in my heart that Peter is an adoptable dog with "a good soul." But because he's been in so many different homes in his young life (2 owners and 3 fosters!) he lacks confidence and looks to his owners for security. His previous adopters did what they could for him, but it wasn't enough and wasn't a good fit for either one of them. Peter does have a bite history where he bit and released on the hand of someone moving his crate. So it is essential you are an experienced and confident owner.
Peter is currently being boarded at the trainers training facility and will remain there for ~2 weeks to complete his training, if you adopt Peter you will have 6 free one on one training sessions with the trainer and Peter to ensure you two learn how to communicate with one another and start your lives together on the best possible foot!! All of this training is no cost to the adopter and there is a $0 adoption fee.
Peter enjoys long walks with his human and LOVES attention so must love walks and snuggling.
