Join us for a free showing of Thor: Raganork on Tuesday, November 21st at Logan Theatre. Afterwards, there will be a post-show discussion of themes present in Thor that relate to our current-day political world such as the relationship between those who wage wars and those who fight in wars.
This event is for all ages.
We are excited to be participating in Nerdy November at Logan Theatre and can't wait to see you all there!

"Congratulations to all those who dreamt big this election cycle and challenged the corporate Democrats made an anti-racist and anti-poverty narrative visible--and sometimes won.
Congratulations to the candidates from marginalized and oppressed communities and/or socialists who fought bigotry and right-wing attacks and got popular support anyway.
I might not share the same electoral strategy as you. But I know what you're fighting for, and that we will see each other on the same side in the struggles of the coming year." #resist#besuper
With what happened in Texas the other day and the countless other lives lost recently is heartbreaking. Let us move to action to change the system. Move to action to show those who are going through so much that there is still something to cling to. Keep fighting. You are loved. You matter.
Millie Bobby Brown is thirteen. She should be praised for her acting for being a hilarious child and her great friendships with her co-stars. Stop sexualizing children. This is part of the problem. #strangerthings
Bringing this artwork back. Today is the 27th day of Halloween and the big 31st is just around the corner. Soon the whole country will erupt in cosplayers going out for a night of spooks and fun. So we feel it necessary to talk about cultural appropriation and Halloween costumes. Yes, we have talked about this before and we will continue to talk about it until it is no longer a problem. So last time we talked more specifically about costumes. A good measure to use to see if your costume is good or not is that you don’t feel the need to somehow get approval from somebody of that cultural background. Dressing up as a yummy food is always a good alternative, or onesies they are both warm and cute.

This weeks #heroesofbesuper is La Borinqueña because we still need to be talking about Puerto Rico and she kicks ass. Also, this comic book talks about the history of Puerto Rico which is important. #laborinqueña#puertorico
