going to bed full as heck of probably the best granola i’ve ever made. i used caitlin’s ( @frommybowl ) recipe for holiday spiced granola but added sunflower seeds, and used raisins! i ate probably 2 pounds of that stuff after my dinner it is the best. definitely gonna pack a lot of it for snacks during my study day tmrw!! 🌿😌🍌🍓 (oh here’s a pic of my turmeric cinnamon oats btw) #vegan #govegan

a classic sophie meal of leftovers/random veggies/get rid of everything in the fridge 🌿 i have a bed of romaine & spinach on top of which i put 2 microwaved potatoes, some red lentil/quinoa thing i made, some carrots, some cauliflower, tomatoes, mustard, nutritional yeast and an @engine2diet sprouted grain tortilla that i toasted in the toaster oven! 🤤 for anyone that’s thinking about going vegan/plant based my #1 tip is to EAT A LOT! plant foods are less calorie dense so you have to eat a larger volume of food. i have specific “meal bowls” that are probably serving bowls but i use them for my meals lol. eat a lot of plants. feel good. love life. 🥕✨📚🥑🥦🥒 #vegan #plantbased #govegan

yummmm these carrot cake oats are packed with fiber, complex carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin C, antioxidants—plus the pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and flax seeds add plenty of healthy fats (aka polyunsaturated fatty acids free of nasty animal products and toxins)✨🌿 PLUS i add turmeric which has been shown to be a better anti-inflammatory agent than the leading prescribed pharmaceutical drug. 🤔🤓 aka this is a god damn bowl of magic. yet sooooo simple. your body is SO great at being a body! stop destroying it and hammering it with toxins, carcinogens, saturated fat, animal protein, etc. and it will work beautifully!! i’m thinking about doing a youtube video on how i make my TURMERIC CARROT CAKE oats because i get SO many questions about these babies!! 🥕🥕🥕 would you be interested in seeing that?? 🍌🍇🍓🥥 #youtube #vegan #govegan

i really like purple. ☔️🦄🧞‍♀️💜🎆 so it’s no surprise that purple sweet potatoes (aka japanese sweet potatoes) are my fav kind ✨😌 i like them baked whole in the oven for 60 mins at 400F—japanese sweet potatoes are cakier than regular ones, they literally taste like biting into a chocolate cakey brownie they’re sooooo fucking good 🍠🍠🍠🌿🌿🌿 #vegan #japanesesweetpotatoes #purple

Even though i like to eat mostly unprocessed, whole plant foods, sometimes when i’m on the go or don’t have time, i like to bring bars with me to class/work! i like @rawrev bars because they’re an all vegan brand with tonnnsss of yummy flavors! happy friday everyone! with finals season approaching, i’m sure a lot of people are spending this weekend studying/working a LOT. I just want to be your little reminder to take some time for yourself and take breaks!! no one can be productive 100% of the time and taking breaks to relieve your brain, muscles, creativity (etc!! whatever you are using) is so important 😌📚💻📱 everyone’s version of self care is different, i’ve spent a lot of time working on this though so i thought i’d share some examples o how i actively incorporate self care into my study/work life. ✖️going for a walk with an upbeat, comedy podcast in ✖️lighting a candle and making a cup of tea ✖️stretching for 10 minutes ✖️actually engaging in conversation with humans (😂 this sounds stupid but sometimes when i’m studying all day it’s like 5pm and i’m like ...have i spoken today??)
✖️call your mom/dad/friend and ask them about THEIR lives ✖️take the time to cook yourself a big, yummy, health promoting meal! 🌽🥕🥒🥜🍌 this is my best tip because making a beautiful meal for yourself is such an active form of self care and it will also provide the brain with the carbohydrates (the only substrate your brain can use!!) it needs to allow you to keep on chuggin 🤓🤓🤓 #vegan #govegan
