Thankfully my girlfriend is a saint and went to @wholefoods for me today so when I get home I can go to workkkkk😎 In my bowl I have Plain @kitehillfoods almond milk yogurt, @purely_elizabeth pumpkin granola, @eatnuttzo peanut pro, and roasted butternut squash 🙌🏼Also, as I’m sure you saw in my post, I just wanted to let y’all know how grateful I am for each and everyone one of you. Chickpea blondies here +Thanksgiving eating blog post UP. Though I was not going to post about Thanksgiving, I couldn’t help but address some of the talk surrounding it. Having struggled with my eating for over a decade of holidays, I had a few thoughts I wanted to share with everyone regarding this day, and the holiday season for that matter. You guys already know I’m a simple gal when it comes to eating, so you also already know my #toasttuesday is usually going to be the OG of simple toast: pb and banana😎 Can’t lie though-I made one small change by adding roasted chestnut crumbles today and feel fancy AF. On the real though, with Thanksgiving in a few days, I wanted to offer this simple reminder to be compassionate with yourself during this holiday and the holiday season for that matter. You won’t gain 10 lbs from one meal. You can eat whatever you want and still be healthy. Eat mindfully and slowly, enjoy your food, and MOST most most MOST importantly-enjoy your time. Time with loved ones, time making memories, time laughing. Ain’t nobody got time for focusing all of their amazing energy on calorie counting and stressing. When we look back on holidays, it’s the amazing time we had that we want to remember, not the stress about whether or not to grab another roll. That is all😊😘❤️
About today’s brunch🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Everything bagel with veggie tofu spread and all the veggies+an almond milk matcha latte while listening to and having in depth convos about Reputation with @juliannegilli 💕💁🏽♀️ Then went off to a hurling match at Fenway, ate more food with my girl on the couch, and now going to watch the AMA’s! Shoutout to @eatyourhe.art.out for the reminder that they were on😘❤️ Sunday’s are for relaxing and getting in alignment for the rest of the week😊 What are your Sundays like?
Saturday: the day where you tell yourself you’ll be productive, then realize it’s the first morning you’ve had off in 5 days, so you’ll absolutely be eating ice cream with globs of pb for breakfast in your sweats instead🤘🏼On the real though, @eatsnowmonkey makes it pretty damn easy to have ice cream for breaky since it’s all natural, vegan AND has added protein(and is delicious-but duh). How do you all get your weekends started!?
After getting my 🍑kicked with @eatrunandallinbetween at @barrysbootcamp this morning, I have a strong feeling I will be eating quite literally all day(this was a snack)😂 I also have a strong feeling that my @eatnuttzo drizzle game was so weak because I just wanted to get to the eating of the potato hahah. Overall, Barry’s was AWESOME. I would definitely do it again, though I can’t lie- I totally prefer my long energizing walks outside at the moment, because those are what have reeeeally been getting me into alignment and allowing me to manifest from my best space🧞♀️ Anywho, off to do some work before going to get the kiddos! Anyone have any good plans for the weekend!?
My, oh my, has “Workin’ on my fitness” changed over the past few years. I once thought to be fit I had to spend hours at the gym, on the treadmill, sweating my ass off and leaving draaaained and sore. Now, long walks are my muse. I love the occasional spin class or kickass bootcamp class because it’s FUN. I get upside down and stretch it out. I work on my fitness by doing what will make me HAPPY. So now choosing a workout for the day is easy, because all I ask myself is “Will that be fun?” If the answer is yes... off I go! SO, I work on my fitness by having FUN...because life is too short to be a slave to the treadmill💁🏽♀️ #healthyhumanweek
Black bean brownies are myyyy... FAVE. Particularly when drizzled in @eatnuttzo peanut pro crunchy🙌🏼 I used the recipe from @chocolatecoveredkatie but subbed almond flour for oat flour and baked them bit longer! Sooo good.
Also, as you may have seen on my story, I think I’m going to go on a little sugar detox. I find that I don’t eat large enough meals, and end up snacking on sweets too often, thus having some more breakouts than usual. I also want to vary my diet and incorporate new and different veggies, which will help keep me full so I don’t have to have a second bar or sugary treat etc. I’m actually excited to use this time to get creative, and will totally keep you guys posted! Have you ever cut back on sugar? All advice welcome! ❤️

Started this morning off but not one but TWO walks. As of late, walking has been what makes me sooo happy, so I have been choosing that most days over any other workouts! Not only did I walk lots, but I also got to chat Quantam Mehanics with my walking buddy who is the best for having such a discussion at 8 am😂( @kaywebbs haaaayy). Now off to do some work and journaling before I get the kiddos! What’s your fave toast?

On Friday, I️ was stressing myself out about having to work yesterday morning then go right to the wedding. I️ literally watched as my Ego told me stories on stories, and I️ allowed it to affect my mood. Though I️ am not yet perfect at picking positive fun thoughts at all times, I️ really am practicing not allowing these old limiting thought patterns to get the best of me! We went to the wedding, I️ ate SO much food and had lots of champagne, we slept in... and guess what? I️ AM ALIVE. Crazy, right? I️ made it through a few drinks and extra carbs and a later than usual bedtime.

Pumpkin. Cheesecake. Bites. YOOOO. I’ll post the recipe in the comments, but for now i wanted to address a question i get asked alll the time: how do i stay “positive”/happy and present all the time? And i have two answers: 1) practice and 2)i don’t.... today being an example. Though i did yoga and mediated a LOT, it took me awhile to get to feeling myself... and that’s ok! The times of not feeling 100% in alignment are to help you see what you don’t want, to then set up for what you do want. I’ll be writing a post on this soon, but for now my advice is mediate, follow your intuition, and do whatever it is that makes you crazy happy as often as you can(or just THINK about what makes you crazy happy!). Happy almost weekend friends! ❤️
When your @ora.organic "easy being green" powder makes your smoothie look like a Christmas tree taste like a dream🙌🏼🎄😂 TBH was unsure how I would like the powder because I'm fussy with my smoothies, but it was damn good and made my smoothie healthy AF so I'm allll about it💚 Also, I feel like this swamp smoothie is the perfect time to address something:Eating healthy can be easy and doesn't have to be fancy. A lot of IG is beautiful bowls with edible stars and colorful drizzles, and they're totally cool and legit! I just wanted to remind you that you can be JUST as cool&legit slash make healthy delicious meals by keeping it simple, too! As long as your meal looks good to you and will make you FEEL good- that's all that matters. Even if there aren't 70 adaptogens and edible unicorns involved 😬Okay das all happy humpday🐫
Up close and personal with the @simplemills banana bread I made today for #toasttuesday 🙌🏼Like I said- add a little pumpkin pie spice and BAM. FALL🍁 Over the past few weeks, after getting sick, I have really allowed myself to walk and rest and not workout much. Today was the first day, however, that my body was reeeally craving not only cardio, but DEFINITELY a long and hot yoga class. It's funny because the anxious feeling of not working out tried to pop up and hangout, but I shut that ish right down because I've been doing my best and that's all that mattas🤙🏼
SO FALL IT HURTS🍁This bowl was actually way better than I even expected TBH, and you better believe I had two "refills" after this photo😂After a long commute and driving the kiddos to school, I did some yoga, meditated and journaled, and got my day started on the best note. Then I made @simplemills banana bread with added pumpkin spice seasoning for #toasttuesday and served it with plain @kitehillfoods yogurt, an almond spice @squareorganics bar, and (my newfound love slash obsession) roasted and sea salted butternut squash from @wholefoodsboston. Now off to BUNDLE up for a short and v brisk walk! I have been working on my personal site and doing some changes to both blogs, and there are some funnn things in the works 😎 Do you have any questions you'd like me to do a post on? When it's #nationaldonutday but you ate so many at the wedding this weekend, so you look back at your feed for the ones you made last, only to realize June 2 was also national donut day😂But on the real, I ate so many donuts at @bendycoconut 's wedding this weekend that Lyndsay had to take my plate away hahah. Ahhhh lazy Sundays and morning routines. For me, this usually involves meditation, spending the morning with my girlfriend, journaling in some fashion, matcha! So when @thematchareserve sent me vanilla matcha and even a matcha whisk(so I didn't have to use my spoon to try and mash it lolz), I was v excited. Tried it out and put it over ice with @califiafarms barista blend almond milk and BAM-best matcha drank I've had yet😬 What are your morning rituals? Happy Sunday babes! 💚
Hiiii hi friends! I feel like I have so much to tell you-per usual. 1) I've been Intermittent Fasting and loving it. I do a 16 hour fast with 8 hours of eating, usually fasting 8pm-noon. I don't do it to deprive, I just feel better and more energized, and my digestion is better. I DO find I need to eat a HUGE first meal when I break the fast(today that was this bagel sammy with veggie tofu cream cheese), though that may not be the same for everyone. 2) Today I wrote to my intuition, and asked it why I have been feeling very off lately. I did not write from my brain, nor my "thoughts." I closed my eyes and wrote. The answer I got was "allow allow allow allow allow" followed by "ease. Go easy on yourself. You're enough." And while I have come far on this journey, I know there is still so much allowing and self love for me, from me. More on all of this later, BUT for now... OFF TO @bendycoconut's WEDDING👰🏻Happy Thursday babes!
