Happy Monday you gorgeous bunch! 💚 Let's talk comfort zones, and not in the fitness sense, but more the hair sense! I actually wear hair extensions every day, I am never without them, and they really are a comfort blanket to me, I don't FEEL me without them. So this weekend, I thought why not style your hair without them, what is the WORST that can happen? So that is exactly what I did and nothing bad happened, I didn't feel less confident or not me, in fact I think I looked pretty good! Now you might think, what the hell has this got to do with the image you've just posted?! Well here is me, with completely natural hair.. And I think the smile says it all! So whatever your comfort zone, it might be that you won't step outside the door with a full face of make up, or perhaps you don't feel you without a pair of heels on, whatever it is, this week give yourself a little challenge to not do what you think you should do to be you, just be you 😊 Have a great week guys!
Sunday morning can only mean one thing... Chorizo and Avocado! I have no idea how this combination works but it totally does 😍 This yummy concoction is on top of wholewheat toast with a scattering of pumpkin seeds, which I seem to throw over everything I eat at the minute! Today I am going to head to the gym for some cardio, before getting ready for the week ahead... Its going to be a busy one 😊
Thursday off work means time to get your house and life in order 💚 I posted on Monday how I am struggling to fit everything in, my work/life/social/gym balance has been completely out of whack, so I am hoping after this weekend things will be back to normal! I say this and with Christmas around the corner, and work about to go into hyper drive (I work in online retail), I've got a feeling this balance might be rocked again shortly! If you have any tips on how to reset the balance in your life, please let me know... As the struggle right now is reeeeeeal!
Good morning from me as I try to get back in the swing of some sort of exercise routine 😔 The struggle has been very real over the past few weeks, not because I have fallen out of love with working out, but simply because life has gotten wayyyy on top of me. Weekends away, work conferences and a car that decided to break down not once, but twice (oh yes), has meant that self care has really slipped. So this week it is time to clear the diary and get some Claire in the gym time in, as it really does put me in my happy place. Has anyone else been lacking their own time at the minute? Up early and getting it done! Super excited as today I am off to Glasgow for a weekend away with my boyfriend and to spend a day at the SFN Expo 😁 I've never been to Glasgow before so I'm uber excited to explore and also to see how Scotland brings their fitness game 👊🏽 I will be posting some of the highlights on my stories and if you have any recommendations of places/restaurants/bars to visit please let me know! 💚
It's Mon-yayyyyy with an extra big yay as I am off enjoying a long weekend! ☺ This morning I have travelled back up north from my parents house, and am going to smash out a heavy leg day as it has been WAY too long since I've worked legs (okay, so a week), relax and get the house in order before a very early 4:30am start tomorrow eeeeek... That Friday feeling when you are on a half day and going home to see your momma for the first time in FOREVER 💁🏽 Little fact about me, I moved out of home when I was 19, to go to university and then work. I never moved back home and it is CRAZY to think that was 10 years ago! This means when I do go home, it is such a treat to spend quality time with my mum and dad, which generally means lots of food and laughs. Basically THE BEST. Happy Fri-yay 😁💚

Monday evenings powered by @nike and my weird arm 💪🏼 Last week I went to my first ever stretching class, and it literally changed my LIFE! I am so guilty of doing very little stretching after my workouts and sadly this has left me so inflexible and hobbily, (<--- not even a word) that I really needed to get it sorted! It has left my whole body feeling so much better that I am going to incorporate at least one stretch class a week. Is anyone else guilty of not stretching? Surely it's not just me 😇 💚

When its Friday and you somehow find yourself in charge of the charity bake sale 🙈 Today at work we are holding a charity sale to raise funds for Hurricane Irma and Harvey relief, so last night was spent making lots of goey chocolate ganache!
