Come before the Lord today in worship with reverence and awe. Come to Him that He may lavish you with grace, mercy, and an appropriate blessing right when you need it.
Jesus, the Lamb of God who knew no sin, died in our place to save us from sin. Through the power of His blood, we now belong to the New Covenant, which allows us to enter God’s Holy Place to encounter Him closely and freely.
Though we can't offer a perfect sacrifice to God, remember that we can still approach Him personally because He sees Jesus His Son in all who believe.
When Jesus died on the Cross, He has secured a better covenant with God for us. Through the blood of the Lamb, we have been set free and cleansed from all our sins. We can also now enjoy an eternal inheritance in Christ Jesus. So let us rejoice and live a life devoted to serving the One who gave it all for us!
"You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel."
(Hebrews 12:24 NLT)
Through the blood of Christ, a new covenant was made, one that is founded on better promises and far superior than the previous one. For it is by grace that we have been forgiven, let us walk in the spirit of love and mercy. #QOTD#CRCII#NewCovenant#QuoteOfTheDay#Forgiveness
In the Old Covenant, each person offers a sacrifice each year as atonement for his sins. But in the New and Better Covenant, Jesus came from Heaven to Earth and became the ultimate sacrificial Lamb to cleanse us from sin once and for all. It is done!
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Rejoice for we are under the New Covenant of God!
The Lord established the new covenant making Jesus Christ, who lives forever, the High Priest. It is he who guarantees the effectiveness of this better covenant by being the mediator between God and man.
May we always be confident that Jesus, whose priesthood lasts forever, intercedes for us that all could draw nearer to God.
So starting from today, let us always have a thankful heart as we live in the days of a better covenant with the Lord, based on a better hope and better promises.
Today, there might be an area or a situation in your life where you’re struggling to trust God — but in reverence, surrender your unbelief to Him. Choose to declare the Lord’s goodness and worship Him still!
Remember that our God is sovereign and merciful and when we call on His name, He will answer. God is greater than all our troubles. We can trust Him in every circumstance and He is faithful to the end.
In this fight against wandering, remember God promises to finish what He has begun in our journey victoriously. Let's constantly encourage one another to seal our hearts to our Maker. "With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You." - Psalms 119:10-11
What battle are you facing right now? This song reminds us that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. So even in our darkest days, rest assured in His promise that He is with us to help, guide, and protect us. God will give us strength to face all the challenges that comes our way and He is the only one who will sustain us in the midst of great trial. So take courage for His joy will be our strength! ❤
The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
From the womb, the Lord God Almighty has already chosen you for greater things. He has placed in you the plans He have for you and has given you the potential to be excellent in all that you do, so that all may see that God is in you!
So let us praise Him and worship His awesome power and know that He is the God of our days. Know and claim that you are a child of God!
Psalms 139:13;16 NLT
13 "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb."
16 "...You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed." #SongOfTheDay#SOTD#YouAreChosen#GodOfOurDays#ChildOfGod#Chosen#CRCII
"Take Courage" by Kristene DiMarco (Bethel Music)
The writer of this song wanted to sing about the story of King Jehoshaphat in the Bible, where God told him to stand firm and hold his position as they worship and let the Lord's power move in their behalf.
This story reminds us that there is power in worshipping and waiting before the Lord. .
Therefore, tell your hearts to take courage, and your souls to remain steadfast, for God is in the process with you. Never forget His faithfulness and that we are serving the One who keeps His promises.
Just like how the Lord won the fight for King Jehoshaphat, He will also win our battles for us for they are not ours but His.
Obedience and servanthood are the results of true encounter with God. Our own plans and ways take the back seat when we discover that His are far better. But the Lord doesn’t just command us to pursue righteousness and to serve Him faithfully; He also supplies us with the grace to do so daily.
The Lord said that our walk of faith won't be easy, but He also promised that He will be with us along the way. But His true favor is the privilege of being in the midst of all the great things He’s doing.
Today, ask God to let you in on His plans and for the grace and faithfulness to follow through. Continue to seek the Lord that you may find favor with both God and men.
God made a covenant with us to secure us that His promises are true and He is always close to us. But as His children, our duty is to fully surrender to Him. So let us pursue righteousness and may we all have a heart that completely follows Him.
Have faith that the God who holds the world together will help us to rise above the struggles and difficulties in life. Don't limit what God can do for you and be at ease for He takes care of His own.
Let us be in the position of humility, filled with the Holy Spirit, as we receive the wisdom and understanding that comes from the Lord, so that we may see His will and promises come true!
Our walk with the Lord includes trials and challenges which will serve as opportunities for us to nurture our spiritual maturity and faith in Him. He allows us to experience troubles that we may grow in full understanding of who He is in our lives.
So today, be secured that He is faithful and in control and makes all things work together for the good of those who remain faithful to His words.
A new and better covenant was established when Jesus Christ came not only to save us from sin, but also to become our Mediator and High Priest. He guarantees the fulfillment of God's promises because He alone has the power to do it. He intercedes for us so that all could draw near to God through Him.
#VerseOfTheDay : “But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.” -- Hebrews 8:6 NLT
God never fails to fulfill His promises to us. In the book of Exodus, God showed His glory to Moses in response to his request. God is always with us and He is always near so be secured that God will always respond to our prayers if we completely put our trust to Him. Only in His presence will we experience the perfect joy and the answers to our every need. ❤
