【279/365】I had a whale of a time in Vancouver! 🐋🤣 Speaking of whales, I've only gone whale watching once. I didn't see any whales. I didn't even see any dolphins. All I saw was a seal, ONE freakin' seal. Have you ever gone whale watching? I hope you had better luck than me. 🙄
【279/365】Have you ever been on a suspension bridge? I will be writing about all the bridge options in Vancouver in an upcoming post. Flying back home today soon. I had so much fun despite the rough start. See you next time Vancouver! ✌🏻
【277/365】The coffee that we got here cost us $140 because our car got towed! We were only here for like 15 min. 😡 I've been having so much bad luck with my first day of trips lately, especially with rental cars. Last trip, all of our luggages got stolen. This trip, my friend's flight was delayed 2.5 hours, I couldn't pick up the rental car since my license expired 2 days ago, and then our car gets towed. Hoping the rest of the trip goes smoothly. Please send me some positive vibes! 🙏🏻
【275/365】Have you ever had to evacuate because of a fire? 🔥🔥🔥 Worrying and waiting to see if my house will get burned down was not exactly on my plan of things to do on my birthday. On Monday morning, a brushfire broke out about 8 miles north of me. It was spreading fast due to the Santa Ana winds. I wasn't that worried at first but once it got closer, I decided to voluntarily evacuate just in case. So I packed up what I thought I needed, along with my dog Joey, and headed to my friend's place. When I got to my friend's place, I learned that the fire has jumped and now it was less than 3 miles away. That's when it really hit me. I could actually lose my home. That was not something that I thought I ever had to worry about. I had trouble processing it. I was probably in denial too. I went to sleep that night not knowing if my house would still be there in the morning. But thanks to all the amazing firefighters working tirelessly through the night, I'm happy to say that my house is safe and sound. Best present ever! 🙌🏻 #canyonfire2#abc7eyewitness
【274/365】This was the ominous orange sky that all of SoCal saw yesterday as the brushfire in Anaheim Hills raged on. 🔥 It has burned over 7500 acres already and is still only 25% contained. Wishing and hoping it will be all gone by today, as well as all the fires up north. Check my IG story for a video. #canyonfire2#abc7eyewitness
【273/365】The #17miledrive is a famous part of the amazingly scenic PCH drive from SF to LA. I've done that drive a few times before but never did the 17 mile drive until recently. It costs $12 and I heard from people that it wasn't anymore beautiful than the rest of the PCH that's free. I finally decided to do it since we stayed at this cool @airbnb inside the neighborhood so we didn't have to pay. After doing it, I would have to agree; it definitely was a bit underwhelming and not worth paying for. A good portion of the drive wasn't even along the coast, but in residential areas. The only notable stop is #LoneCypress . I imagine that it can make for a beautiful shot at sunset but unfortunately I didn't get one that day.
【270/365】Whenever I go somewhere with no parking lot, I always get very anxious, especially if I'm alone. I guess I'm spoiled living in the suburbs. Most places in Downtown LA are street parking. I had dinner there on Sunday and I circled around a few times but had no luck. So I decided to just pay $10 for a lot. At least there was a cool mural in the lot. 🙄
【269/365】If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what would it be? I would be 25. It's the last age where you actually get some kind of benefit, which is renting a car at a cheaper rate. And after you turn 30, it's all downhill from there. 😭 Don't listen to people that say 30 is the new 20. It's a load of 💩.
【267/365】In the wake of the largest mass shooting in US history, one that claimed the lives of 58 people and injured over 500, this is an important reminder: "You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty." Ghandi
【266/365】Are you guys interested in learning more about how I edit my photos? This photo was manipulated with Photoshop to remove certain elements and move the girl. Then I used VSCO, Snapseed and IG to edit. Check my IG stories to see the before and after. Sometimes it takes a lot of editing to make a photo look clean and minimal. 🤣
【264/365】 I wish I could go back to all the places I've traveled to before IG. Cause if it was before IG, you didn't really see it. 🤣 JK! But on a serious note, I really do want to revisit places so I could take better photos.
