What does meditation do to your brain and how can it help you?
Our brain has five major waves with different categories. When we meditate or "lengthen our breath", the frequencies in the brain move from higher wavelengths to lower ones. The slower the wavelengths, the more time we give between our thoughts, thus, we skillfully choose what thoughts to invest in, we start taking more rational actions and stop blaming ourselves for certain issues in our lives.
