These old vids are my motivation for this Monday 💪🙌. To start working on that upper body strength again. Specifically my pull ups and chin ups. (MY FAVS) Since putting on the extra kilos they are proving much more difficult. No surprises there 😂. I used to be throwing them out for multiple sets of multiple reps fully extended and now I'm clinging to the bar trying to do 3 half reps 😂 and it's not that my strength has gone down... it's that my weight has gone up 🙈🙊. So setting a new mini goal to get my upper body even stronger with pull ups, push ups, chin ups and my dips (My dips are beyond laughable 💃💁😂) and improving on the calisthenics side of my bodybuilding passion. And since I'm snowed in today with the kiddies out of school and no sign of making it to the gym it looks like I'll be starting this weeks sessions at home today 🙌💪💁 #noexcuses

A friendly #transformationtuesday reminder to anyone struggling with certain parts of their body .
In my opinion... There's two things you can do if there's something that you don't feel too great about. You can either change it or accept it and I think my tummy is a great example of that.
So there is a 6 MONTH difference between these photos. On my left is where my tummy sits training 4/5 times a week, eating a maintainable healthy balanced diet. Why isn't it tighter, like everywhere else on my body? (Bare in my I'm in good shape everywhere else 😉💪🙋) Because of the 'mum tum', the lovely loose skin. It may not even look as bad there in a photo as it can look in reality. 6 months later on the right... I changed it. What did it take? A whole lot of clean eating, intense training, and cardio. Not very maintainable but achievable. (I did this for competitions). My point is... You can change something you don't like, it just takes passion and hard work 🙌💪. If I had a euro for every doctor or fellow misinformed mum that told me only a tummy tuck would flatten out the loose skin and 'pouch' (HATE that word 😷😂😩) and give me the look I desired, I'd have probably had enough to get one 🙌😂 (slight exaggeration 😂... 5 grand I think 🙊). My stubborn little self chose not to listen and to try do it on my own no matter how hard it was and I did just that. So, if you want to change something bad enough, work hard enough and you can achieve it. And what you cant change... that's where you accept. 💞.
My stretch marks... I can't change, so I must accept them. This is much harder but simply put... IT'S ALL COMPLETELY UP TO YOU HOW YOU SEE YOU. Your body is your own. If anyone puts you down in anyway for how you look... They aren't happy in themselves either. Because if they truly loved themselves and were happy and confident it wouldn't even matter how anyone else looked. So ignore. Love yourself. Love your flaws. Know your worth. 💁💞. As my grandma always said... "You could be dead tomorrow". Haha blunt but true. Don't waste precious time stressing over things you can't change and anything you can change well you know what do 😉💪💃💞.
Ahhhh wednesdays.... an excuse once a week for so so many girls world wide to sit on sinks in their underwear with a caption "Happy Hump Day" 🙊😂😂. So here's my version before I absolutely killed my glutes and quads yesterday and couldn't stand up straight to take a photo 😷💪🍑😂 and a Happy Hump Day to all of you lovelies. Funny enough we rarely get opportunities to train together and when we do it ends up with me throwing a mini tantrum because he tries to go all PT on me and corrects my form 😒😂😂😂.
I wouldn't change a single thing. Not one. He's my best friend and I love the bones of him. And his muscles too. All of the muscles 😍😍😍😂😂😂. Actually I'm only here for the muscles 💁😍😂. Plus he trains legs. #winning 😉🙌💁.
